My amazing experience with nature today

Everyday comes with a new thing though our prayers will always be for it to be the manifestation of God's blessings. I was able to wake up very early today so I started the morning by sweeping my room and making sure everything looks clean as I always wanted it to be. Not long after I lighted up the gas cookers in my kitchen and started parboiling the beans I intended to eat for the day before leaving for work. Though I know it takes quite some time, my confidence was that I still had enough time and also that it was still dark on the outside.

After I had parboiled the beans, I rinsed the beans and continued my cooking with fresh water. Not long after I noticed a change in the sound of my burners and I came to observe closely, it happened to be that I had almost exhausted the remaining gas I had in my small cylinder.
I had no choice but to remove the already boiled water from the beans and then securely cover the pot and leave it to enter the bathroom.
It took me less than fifteen minutes to shower, dress up and hit the road as I didn't want to be late for work.

As I got to the entrance of the estate where my office is located, I paid off the taxi, came down and started walking. It seemed as though the rain had been waiting for me all along because it immediately started raining. I wasn't too surprised though because the brightness of the sky was no better than it used to be in the evening when you can hardly see people's faces from afar.

I increased my steps the best way I know I can, knowing very well that by the time I get to my office I would be completely wet already. But the more I increased my steps the more the rain increased its capacity, I was left with no choice but to run. With my bag in hand and my little flax of warm water I continued running. Whatever feeling of fatigue that would make me feel tired I ignored all remembering the military drills I took part in, remembering even the distance I used to cover on foot while jogging and also remembering that I've spent many years in martial arts training. I encouraged myself because there is no room for weakness in me.

I continued running till i got to a crossroad which when followed straight will lead me to my office in no distant time. Immediately I went across the area and the rain stopped at once. The loud roaring sound and everything stopped. It was almost like magic but I was already wet.
I took out my handkerchief and cleared my face most especially my eyes to have a proper vision. Then it occurred to me to check out my phone which I had not thought of getting wet in my pocket.
When I brought out my phone, it was in good condition. The reflection of surrounding objects on the wet road attracted my eyes, then I opened my camera and took a few shots before getting to the office.

I know I'll have to deal with the air conditioners in my office because I would definitely be very cold but when I got inside the reverse was the case. My body had already generated a lot of heat from my little exercise and finally dried up myself and I had a great day at work today.
