I got invited to speak about Hive and boreholes on a Global Tech Podcast.

A few weeks back, I had a remarkable opportunity to take part in a conversation I won't ever forget. I was on the Somewhere On Earth Podcast. (SOEP) A global tech podcast that explores how technology is impacting people across the planet. First, thank you @steevc for connecting me to the podcast and making this happen.

The incredible hosts, Ania and Gareth, were perfect facilitators for my story. The story of how we have used blockchain technology to provide access to clean water to underserved rural communities in Ghana. I shared our Hive borehole project vision that is rooted in a basic human need for clean water but has grown to provide access to thousands of people. It was a privilege to share this story with a global audience and contribute to the technology narrative. Explore real-world solutions powered by innovative tools.

What also stood out to me was my opportunity to share about Hive. a decentralised blockchain platform that provides the crowdfunding basis for all 22 boreholes we have constructed to date. I shared how the community funding system on Hive allows people all over the world to contribute to projects in Africa that are life-changing. We are not only creating content and making transactions on the Hive blockchain; we are literally changing lives on the continent.

The Somewhere On Earth Podcast is known for providing weekly updates on how technology is shaping humanity. I was glad to contribute to that narrative with our own interview. It opened up conversations, helped more people become acquainted with the Hive ecosystem and reminded people that blockchain is not just about crypto or finances. It is about humanity. It is about purpose. It is about impact.

I had an incredible time with Ania and Gareth. Their questions were well thought out and made the conversation easy and inspiring to share. I think experiences like this are important because they provide perspective that Web3 tools can be very powerful when used to support social good.

Let's continue to show the world what Hive is capable of. Not just through code or numbers but through real stories, real people, and real change. Thanks again to @steevc, Ania, Gareth and everyone at the Somewhere On Earth Podcast.

This was great. I've known the team since they did a show at the BBC. They cover lots of interesting stories. I hope the coverage of Hive gets people interested.

I had watched the short clip of your story, a few seconds of a podcast on Twitter. It was great and i hope a lot of people het to see and know all about Hive and the good things that comes out of it.

The first time I joined the HiveGhana community and saw the borehole projects, I was amazed.
It's really great achievements to talk about everywhere considering the many great things Hive blockchain still has to offer
