Weekend Engagement 113 - Bed time stories and the forever outfit (2022.08.05)

I used to wear pyjamas in my childhood, but nowadays I usually wear polo and pants, mostly with socks. And if the weather is colder, then sometimes I also wear a pullover to save on the costs of heating. But the most important is that I always sleep with my Harris's hawk. She lie down on me (mostly around my neck/head), and we sleep together.

I dare to upload a photo about it. Probably for the first time.

This photo is from the previous month. I took it on 2022.07.25, 16:34 CEST. I have not shared this photo anywhere on the internet so far, so this is a Hive exclusive content. At first, I tried to upload it on Ecency, but it was not successful (the photo appeared to be completely white), and I uploaded it on PeakD. Now it appears properly.

As you can see, I wear a white polo on this photo. Actually nowadays I wear this polo regularly in bed. Probably I will wear it even tonight.

But the more interesting is probably my Harris's hawk. I currently do not know anyone else, who would sleep with a Harris's hawk. And my Harris's hawk is more tame than many people's dogs and cats. I spend a lot of time with her.

As for the forever outfit, I would wear something that shows a bird on the most part of the polo/pullover. Surprisingly I currently do not have such clothes. A few months ago I saw a polo with an eagle on it in a clothes store in Budapest. The bird was on the entire polo. It was beautiful. Somewhat I regret not buying the polo. If I remember correctly, then it was in an Indian clothes store.

Either way, if I will see a good polo/pullover with a bird on it, then I will buy it. It would fit me, because I have a bird.

By the way, I am still in the city (in Szolnok, Hungary), as I write this post. I am currently waiting for the bus to go home. I bought a mouse for my laptop, but I will write about that in another post later.

Today is a hot (currently 36 °C) summer day. This was the sunrise.

The morning was pleasant. I have not even checked the temperature in the morning. I took this photo near a bus stop in Szolnok, Hungary.

If you mean the eagle polo, then I do not have that. I only saw it in a store a few months ago. The white polo I wear on the photo is nothing special. Just an ordinary polo.

You must be very close to you Hawk, I have people keep birds as pets but not a Hawk and this close.

Looks like you have built a fantastic relationship, I wish I could wear a cloth to sleep like you. I usually don't go to sleep with clothes, except on extremely cold days.

I spend a lot of time with her. I call her to my arm by whistling (she learned that in a few weeks, probably in one month), and I often feed her with/from my hand. She often stand on my arm for hours.

Woah your pet soulmate is one of a kind 😍. This is my first time seeing someone sleeping with a hawk and comfortable as it was. 😍 I remembered about the dream catchers, feathers it was. So might be hawk has the power to give wonderful dreams. 😍 of course fiction it was. Have a great weekend.

I also have not heard so far about other people sleeping with their hawk, nor with any other predatory bird. But I saw and heard about people having a very close relationship with their birds, and I like their stories.

Hello my friend, Hope you are having a great week and enjoying the sunny outside with your lovely HH.

I am quite busy and it feels like I am on roller coaster of errands at the moments. Our priorities become duty when we have growing kids with us, I am currently loaded with some children's tasks and I hope when the school opens, things will become smooth. But, anyway this our life and we know how to enjoy it with our family and friends.

I saw the hawk sleeping on your chest like a baby, and I remember you had told me that once, I don't know if I have seen something like that the friendship of a bird and a man. She seems in a very deep sleep, worriless, and calm.

Our priorities become duty when we have growing kids with us

I like taking the responsibility in this sentence. Not everyone think like this.

I have not heard other people having a friendship like this so far either. Maybe other people keep it as a secret to themselves. By the way, she is almost always calm. Except if she see a stranger. Or a cat. Or a dog. Then she screams. She is not used to see other people and other animals. Nowadays I live alone with her.
