Legit Or Not - Sex Before Marriage

Don't just handle the fruit, you must get to taste it first, a saying I have heard over the years which does make good reasoning. In all honesty I cannot believe woman or men enter into a marriage till death do us part without testing the water first.

Love comes in many guises, a man with great wealth needs to throw caution to the air he, ensuring he is not being tricked into marriage for money alone. A beautiful woman there is another African proverb covering this one, 'One who plants grapes by the roadside, and one who marries a pretty woman, share the same problem.'

Sweet Talk

Society through most religions will dictate no sex before marriage, both must become one from a pure state, now how is that possible two virgins clambering around trying to make sense of life? Very few accomplish, it is literally an opening to divorce courts a few years down the line, children hurt, or an unhappy partner for life, your choice!

Some high school sweethearts make it naturally into marriage, can they honestly say looking back there was no foreplay? Growing up is all about our sexual desires, being honest with oneself goes extra miles when considering it's a lifetime commitment.

Doing It Together!

Sex before marriage after dating for a good period of time but before marriage is something that is legit, should be done, how would you know this most important part of life is not going to backfire on you within a week after celebrating within company of all. Another African proverb to ponder, "A happy man marries the girl he loves, but a happier man loves the girl he marries", now take note the man is always given preferential treatment in all these proverbs or directly from some 'good books" which leads me into the next part of a dual answer to questions posed this week....

Pairing Off When We Land

Proverbs 2:16-22 emphasized that sex under any guise apart from marriage only leads to unhappiness, curses and poverty.. I would imagine this applies to both male and female gender. Although woman get a bad wrap, men need woman to perform the act in most circumstances.

The ladies - Most useful item

Vocal intellect is most powerful, how one identifies pitch of tone, how it is perceived. When your mother yelled at you scorning what you did wrong, you know by the tone of her voice!

Saying It Softly With Accentuated Meaning

A woman's voice can be sexy, sultry, serious, cool and cruel when unleashed, whichever way presents itself in any situation. Use that intelligently, pitch of tone can take you further in business, in the bedroom, within family, it can become your best/worst enemy, use it wisely!

Vocally Keeping Everyone In Line

Knowledge always goes a long way, approaching a problem logically using the right tone of voice overcome problems sensibly through debate within a marriage or business, a most useful item one carries around with oneself.

Decades ago sex before marriage was possible as people were still conservative. Now? I don't believe this is still happening.
Sad to say, pre-marital sex is now common for couples. That's the trend.

It is said that sex before marriage is bad, but some people still say you can't just go to the market, you will have to know and test what you want to purchase before you purchase it to avoid returning it back to the seller

In many cases vicar/pastor/priest gave lessons on the matter for weeks leading up to the big day, how did they know the in's and out's, unless at church where they are allowed to be married. 🙃

I really liked your words and point of view, although in my opinion and you can say that visual statistics of close families getting married being pure does not necessarily end in divorce remember that if there is no point of comparison what you have even if it is bad for you is good. While debauchery brings diversity and points of comparison and therefore more unhappiness that's why our grandparents lived a lifetime together while our generation lives divorced.

In my eyes divorce is worse than death for most children, some married then divorced 10, 15, or 20 years into a relationship, not all, many do make it through.

Our grandparents also were not as open about their debauchery for fear of being shunned by society.

We would not have a Cape Coloured Nation evolve all those years ago, I think that predates our grandparents. Life is never black nor white, very much a grey even down to family linage, it all starts with sex, not always marriage.

I think we are living in very difficult times for society in general, in large part because importance is given to things that in reality should be of little relevance and since at the end of the day no one is the owner of the truth, everyone believes they are doing the right thing.

Honestly I believe sex after marriage is fair and this sounds good to me. What others prefer that's their personal matter. I never get into this kind of debates or arguments because everything has It's own way to proof things valid or invalid.

Arranged marriages, after marriage sex, all may fall outside the true feelings of the individual involved. Teach at home one never knows what the young learn outside the home.

In my country, not having sex before marriage has been respected for many years, here we are more liberal in this regard.

Honesty is almost a lost entity to keep a 'good front', many deep down know the truth very few spell it out.

Married for one hell of a long time, many people divorced ages ago, some happy others sad, this is purely for fun, 'jerk the chain' as they say and have some weekend engagement fun !LOLZ

Lol is a fun engagement but true though I've had two relationships in my life that insisted on sex after marriage, the brave me thought I can do it but failed, in the quest to find a wife if I come across one of those sex after marriage stuff again I will be on the run 🏃🏃🏃

Once bitten, twice shy I think the saying goes. No most are not honest with themselves, basically it's embarrassing to talk about one of the most natural things that happen in life no matter who the partner is.

Well, all I can say is that my wife and I met in 1991 and we married in 2000 - no one can wait so long 🤣
... and we are still quite happy 😀

Long term getting to know a person makes for a firm decision, some meet one day married the next and stay together forever. We are pretty strange when it comes down to place and time, I have friends who lived together over thirty years still sharing life without a marriage certificate !LOLZ

Even when married light flirting carries on over the years between friends or business associates, not always leading to sex, where many say thinking it is as good as doing it, well then you may as well go whole hog!

Looking to nature all animals enjoy sex, including humans we are not excluded we simply add crazy rules to everything we do, or think we do to be correct....

That's very true. There is a definite double standard when it comes to sexual experiences. Men were expected to be at least somewhat knowledgeable before marriage, but women were not; yet... how would that be possible if women needed to stay 'pure'? 'Tis a strange thing, it is, these rules made by men.

Each parent has the task of teaching from young going into great detail, 🙃, or they learn from 'friends'.

I had to chuckle at that last proverb, Joan. Times have changed since I was in the dating scene as a naïve young girl.

I have seen that women who had more experience seem to secure a successful marriage in most cases.

Many only marry a lot older today compared to when we were young, most probably better in the long run. We sure were naive entering marriage at quite young ages yet many have made it!

Sex before marriage was frowned upon back in the day and thank goodness that has changed. Living together before one commits to what is supposed to be a lifelong union makes the odds of that being the case increase 10 fold.
Would anyone buy a car without giving it a test ride first, I think not. Living together before getting hitched exposes your partner's idiosyncrasies and yours as well.
There's nothing sadder than to have children involved in an unhappy marriage.

Frowned upon, oh yes..., yet irony is most the older folk would quietly tell you stories of their exploits when young, once you were married, almost owned up to letting secrets out the bag a tad late.

We lived in strange times, with hippies around, older parents Dad in his 40s when I arrived after war years, Gran coming at you with a heavy bible in hand ready to give you the riot act, too scared or naive to make any decisions in ones late teens !LOLZ
