How a simple challenge has given me the opportunity to experience something I had never done before [A Weekend Experiences Story]

We've all experienced it, I'm sure.... That is, noticing that our lives, even when we're doing something we moderately enjoy, seem to be repeating themselves. Let's put it this way: you're on a date, or eating, or even playing some video game, and at some point you feel that it's not as satisfying as it should be.... That feeling of ennui can become quite frustrating. In my case, I decided to do something about it. I coupled two things I love dearly, going out to a bar and drinking coffee, with a challenge I read in a detective novel "to be polite to a complete stranger". Here's the story (post) of what happened....
It's 8pm on the Saturday night most recent to the day of this post, there's a girl putting the finishing touches on her makeup. She has an idea of what she wants to happen that night. What she doesn't quite know is how she will make it happen. She supposes, that's the magic of doing what she has in mind. But the mystery, for you, reader, is to know what the girl is all about that night of coffee,, bar and imagination?
She thinks, and comes to the conclusion that combining things she loves will make her night memorable. She arrives at the bar, settles in the hot drinks, pastries and snacks section. Quickly inspecting everything around her at a glance. He moves his eyes quickly from side to side, up and down, and suddenly arrives (suddenly, as she had not noticed his proximity) and asks her with total kindness and respect: "Would you like to order something, miss, or are you waiting for your company?". She smiles and returns the good vibes.
"No. For now, I'm not planning to order anything. Just a glass of ice water. Come back in a moment, I'm sure I'll know what to order by then." The waiter, nods and goes off to continue his duties. Now, from the moment I sat down in that place I noticed one person. A girl in her 20s.... She kept looking at her cell phone. She caught my attention, because in that area of the bar we were the only ones who had come to that place alone. As soon as I looked at her, I knew. Don't ask me how, but I knew....
I called the waiter, and ordered two coffees. A Latte Machiatto for me and a Vanilla Latte for her. Evidently, she was not aware of anything. We didn't know each other, nor had we met before that day. I just told the good waiter, when he brought her the coffee, to tell her for me that if she wanted it, she could wait for her date (or friends) next to me. The shocking thing about this story is that she and the other girl immediately hit it off.
She smiled a lot. She couldn't believe that a complete stranger would gift her a coffee, with no strings attached. Just for the sake of giving it away. From that moment on, I knew my Saturday was done, complete. She, a girl who did not consider herself beautiful, felt appreciated and valued with a simple gesture. Unfortunately, she didn't want us to take a picture together, she insisted she wasn't beautiful enough. She said, she was at that bar to avoid having to make dinner, and that our meeting was the nicest thing that had happened to her in her week. She and I are friends now, and this post is for and because of her Thank you for this moment, honey!

Just reading about your experience has put a big smile on my face! It's nice to see that the art of polite conversation with strangers isn't lost. Kudos for creating a special memory and for giving us all a little nudge to be more open and friendly in our daily lives
Oh thank you so much for the warm and kind reply. And yes, I didn't expect any of this. I mean, for me was a total challenge the simple odea of just doing it... But the reward totally worth it.
