🎂 Happy Birthday To Me! 🎂 Celebrating My 28th Birthday

Over the weekend, I was fortunate enough to celebrate my 28th birthday with my family! Although we did not have the opportunity to do too much this year, it was still a lovely experience that made my heart smile 😊

However, one unfortunate thing about celebrating this year, was being pregnant at the same time 😅 I do not mean this in a bad way! Although I am over 5 months pregnant now, I still experience terrible morning sickness on some days. My birthday happened to be one of those days 😔 But we still made an effort to get outside because it was such a lovely temperate day in the middle of winter!

We went down to the bay in order to feed some of the waterfowl that visit. This includes ducks, geese, swans, and sometimes even cranes! 😯 Our baby daughter has started taking a particular interest in birds now, and she thoroughly enjoyed screaming at them 😄

My boyfriend wanted to get some photos of baby in her cute little outfit--she was wearing adorable overalls!--but the wind by the water still proved to be too cold. He did manage to capture some great photos though 🙂

Afterwards, we went home and had dinner! Although it was my birthday, I continued to cook and clean as I normally would. I do not see any fault with this, don't take pity upon myself 😄 I made lovely honey garlic chicken bites and French fries 🤤 After that, my boyfriend served us all a delicious hazelnut cake! 😋
