A little karaoke fun

Hello everyone~~
These past few days have been pretty social for me. Pretty far from what I'm usually used to, but it's still my birth month, or so my sisters say and I should really just enjoy the month while I'm still waiting for my new job to finally send me the contract. (Though it's been 2 weeks and I've been getting pretty irritable with the fact that I'm getting 0 updates from the HR).

Anyways, last night I was suddenly dragged by my highly impulsive sisters to go for karaoke! I can't remember the last time we ever got to do this, but one thing's for sure, it was definitely wild! Who knew the "smart and proper little girls" would grow up to be party girls by heart.

So first thing's first. As soon as we got there, we had to decide on what to eat since they said it would take a while for the food to be ready. And us being us, we just got finger food since we all really don't eat rice much now. I'm not sure if it's a puberty thing or if we just got diet conscious but yeah, no rice. And the drinks aren't beers, they're just iced tea because we still have a kid with us XD maybe when she turns 16, we'll get cocktail towers, but for now, we'll have to live with iced tea.

Here was a toast to start the night off. And again, noooo liquor. We'll save that when for the near future.

After the toast and all the ordering, the songs just came in one by one. we started off with ABBA songs (ancient, I know but that's what you get for growing up with grandparents and a single mom)

I believe this was "Super trouper" by ABBA too and we even did the dance that the ladies from mamma mia did. It was so cute! sad that mom wouldn't join the dance but oh well, I guess it comes with age.

The staff kind of thought of us as a strange bunch though because we mostly went for old songs unlike their usual young customers that always ask for the newest songs.

Oh and this was another clip I liked from the number of clips we took from that night. This was when we were singing "Super bass" by Nicki Minaj and we were surprisingly all in sync when it came to the chorus part. It was hilarious and I swear, we have some weird kind of telepathy with these things. When it comes to just fun, I have no idea why our telepathy is so strong yet when it comes to deciding over food or the menu for the week, we always need to argue because we're working on a budget or because someone is on a temporary diet (soft foods because one of my sisters has braces, then sometimes we're stuck with soups because someone gets sick, that sort of thing).

I think we spent almost 3-4 hours in there before we called it a night. I am definitely not gonna upload a video of us singing because it's still a bit too embarassing to have my voice heard. But to be fair, we all have pretty okay voices, we just tended to be loud and we screamed like half the time, and I'm not ready to let you guys hear the screams of banshees.

Of course, the night can't end without more pictures. But since we were all pretty tired, a lot of the photos came out blurry

These were probably the most decent ones we had XD Sad that we couldn't get ice cream after like what we usually do whenever we have a girls' night out, but with how sore our throats were after, I don't think we'll be having anything sweet or cold for a while.
