I have always been curious about the world.

'The world is spherical', so I heard... With lots of theories to back it up. Others believe the world to be flat, with theories to back it up.

Now, I am left with the thought... "Is the world trying to play a game with people's minds?" Haha. The Big Bang Theory came in, and I do not understand a thing about it but... The good news here is that I love the movie 'Big Bang Theory '. If you are going to ask why I love it, well, all I can say is that it is funny! And I love movies that make me giggle endlessly like new lovers who can't take their eyes off each other.

Speaking about lovers, this makes me think about the world. It is knowledgeable that the world is full of Living things and Non-living things. The living things; are the likes of humans and animals. Non-living, the likes of; Rivers, Mountains, and all others.

The way the world works is kind of funny. The way it brings people to you in terms of coincidence. Creates opportunities you never thought of, makes you realize a lot every day, and learn more about humans and their ways of life. The world teaches lots of lessons that get one's mouth agape like a fish. We've been able to demystify a lot of mysteries about the world through rapidly advancing technologies. Still, no one can boldly say they know everything about the world.

How crazy is that?!!

When it comes to people and animals, we almost follow the same pattern. The cycle of giving birth to our young ones, breastfeeding, and all others. Only that... Life gets in the way sometimes. The cycle sometimes has a crack when a child disregards his or her parent's opinion of following the train of;

You were born and therefore, you also will have to get married and have a family too.

When this cycle is broken, life happens, and the world takes another direction for these people and their choices in life.

Apart from a child disregarding his or her parent's opinion of the life cycle, other factors disrupt the change in the life cycle. Let's take for instance; a woman who is barren even when medical professionals point out that she is fertile.

Many instances in life make humans reason... With their mind screaming, "Damn! This can happen too?"... Haha, funny world!

In terms of animals, some also break the cycle as a chicken would rather break its egg and suck in the content than let it hatch to bring out its young ones.

Someone once said to me, " The world is triangular in shape" and I couldn't help the laughter that came afterward.

Everyone has their opinions on how the world is and there is one thing I think we all agree on and that is... The world isn't balanced and I find myself nodding my head in confirmation. But, this doesn't clear the curiosity I have about the world. Yeah, I know, "Curiosity kills the cat". Do not forget though, that " the answer brought it back to life". This is why I can't help this curious part.

If by chance you understand the world better, either by experience or by any other means... I would love to know. Do not let my death be in vain. Please revive me.

This is my response to @galenkp Weekend Engagement Prompt.

Thanks for reading.

Peace be unto those who crave it and more to those who chase it away.

I'm telling you, we're actually nurturing similar opinions
Honestly, the world isn't balanced, hoping we'll find the answer together

I haven't visited the atmosphere but science and even the bible agrees that the earth is spherical in shape. Diagram of the earth or the world have never been drawn in another shape other than a circle or sphere. Nice entry, wishing you the best

The Circle of life is well, very evasive to me. I don't think we can really understand everything because what we value as human beings can vary. But we can learn and move forward.

There are a lot of things we have trust the theories that Scientists have arrived at, (and some evidence we can't wrap our head around understanding,) I like how you started by the sphere/flat earth theory. I'm leaning toward believing that earth is a spherical planet, but who knows? Life has always thrown curveballs in scientists' theories and Laws.

Remember when The Theory of Relativity didn't exist? People don't need explanations to live their lives. Those of us who do are stupid, in a good way.

One thing about the cycle of life I'd like to add, "it's instinctive." People want to marry or have children, at least most of them have deep rooted desire for so, and would if the circumstances allow it, but we're living in an age that makes wanting that absurd. "Why would you bring a new child to a world that made you suffer and would make the baby too?"

I read a manga a long time ago that explored this idea, having the terminally ill main character always wondering "why he was born if only to suffer?" He fell in love with a girl only to realize she has less left in life than him. The world was a dystopia, but when he sees a recording from his mother and father, they talked about wanting to have him in that world, to experience joy, even in a dystopia.

^ I should clean this comment & turn it into a post.

Haha... Please tag me in.

I do agree with the 'Instinctive' part. Saddening as it is, babies are born on earth to follow the same cycle. I love your point of view on this. You do deserve some !LUV

I don't think it's sad, I think we have "damaged" our society enough that it became sad.

That said, I believe that because I come from an Islamic Faith, in a Godless world, only Nihilism is logical. We believe God created us for a reason, to be tested, and whoever does good deeds and believes in the creator will go to heaven. That's why everyone has hardships in life, because hardships bring to the open those who help each other and those who succumb to them.

It makes sense, when when you think of all "animals" on earth, only humans are different. Only we have the capability of doing evil without a "biological" reason. Just my belief though, but it makes sense, right?
