Beekeeping Dilemmas for a Beginner - Episode 2 - A hive is like a skinny cow.

Many jokes and sayings about skinny cows that have stopped giving milk without any alternative, but it's a pity to shoot them, as they say, over the course of several years their souls have become close and it's warm in the heart when the cow is thinking lol.

In theory, it's a pity to even use such a cow for sausage, since the meat yield will be low and they won't give a good price for it.

Something similar can be observed in an apiary, when after winter or a blue honey harvest the bee colonies weaken, or wasps attack them and mercilessly cut out the bee population... there seems to be a hive, but there is no honey in it, but it's a pity to throw out such a hive, you have to look for alternative ways, but, mind you, no one tries to negotiate with the wasps and this is right.

But, a beekeeper will always find a way to get at least a little honey from a bad bee colony and I plan to do this in the future :).

And wasps... one day wasps will sting themselves.
