Río el Salto in Soroa, Artemisa, Cuba: a natural jewel!!

Today I bring you a place that stands out for its natural beauty in Cuba, that is undoubtedly the Río el Salto in Soroa, Artemisa. This river, which rises in the mountains of the Sierra del Rosario, is known for its crystal clear waters and impressive waterfalls.
To reach its beautiful waterfall, it is necessary to walk a path that has an approximate length of 1 kilometer. Along the route you have to go down and up a series of stairs that are integrated into the path.
In total, it is estimated that there are about 300 steps to reach the base of the waterfall. Although it may sound like a high number of steps, the road is quite conditioned and the stairs are designed to be safe.

Along the way, you can enjoy the beauty of the natural environment of the area, which includes a wide variety of native plants and trees. In addition, the sound of the river water accompanies us throughout the tour, which makes the walk a unique sensory experience.

It is a beautiful place! Here in my town there is also a river and it is certainly wonderful to be able to visit these spaces because one can really disconnect from everything. Beautiful photos.
