Red Ravine Canyon, a place straight out of a sci-fi movie

Hello travelers

I'm glad to be back here again with a new travel blog from here in Romania, I missed a few days because I decided to take a few days off and escape to a fabulous place (I'll share it with you here) on an island in Greece.

But until then let's start exploring a fabulous place, it's so impressive that I saw it every time I was heading to Alba Iulia on the highway.

Râpa Rosie(Red Ravine) is a natural reserve and is only a few kilometers from Sebes.

I really wanted to get here and now it's time for my feet to step on this place that looks like something out of a sci-fi movie.

It's very easy to get here, in fact just get off the highway and follow the stone road (and yes, you'll dust your car well here), and every now and then you'll see signs to guide you.

We got here quite late (I think it was already seven o'clock in the afternoon), even so there were still a lot of people.

You know that "goose bumps" feeling?

That's what I felt when I was approaching this place, it's something surreal, I looked many times on the pictures I took here and honestly in reality it is much more spectacular.

Enough talk, I got properly equipped and I went on the route, from the information I had I found out that there is no particular route but everyone chooses the way they want to visit this place.

Visiting this place is free.

I first chose to reach these strange formations, I really wanted to touch them.

So I followed the path through the forest, a very demanding route because of the gravel, but also because of the steep slope, in front of me some tourists giving up the trail for lack of equipment.

And suddenly, as I came out of the forest, this immensity appeared before me.

I was going to put the drone up, but because of the wind I changed my mind, so this time we'll only see this place this way.

From up here I had an amazing view.

That was where I parked the car.

We spent over an hour here following two trails, it really was an amazing experience, so if any of you are visiting Alba Iulia don't forget to plan a visit to Râpa Rosie as well, it will be amazing.
