Let's explore Munich(Germany) on foot
Let's enjoy together the magic of Munich in Germany, even if we are not in the winter holidays when we can literally talk about the beauty of this city that looks amazing at that time, I took the liberty to use the word magic now and I want to show you that this city is magic at any time of the year.
But before we start exploring the city at our own pace, let me say a few words about the accommodation we had here.
Tulip Inn, this is the hotel we stayed at, a very nice hotel with spacious and clean rooms, you can find it at Zamdorfer Str. 120, Munich.
I can tell you that the breakfast is very varied, that is if you stay here and opt for it, be careful if you come by car and park in front of the hotel to know that this will cost you 11 euro/day.
We leave the hotel behind and head towards the city centre, but until there we have to find where to leave the car, parking spaces are scarce, there are a lot of cars and there were also road rehabilitation works which created even more congestion, but in the end we managed to find parking.
I have to admit that I have been dreaming of visiting Germany for a while and now the dream has come true.
I didn't have much time to organize my visit here very well, so I chose to visit the most emblematic places, so for today I made a selection of some of the places I liked the most and in a future post I will share with you another place here.
At first glance it seems that in this part of the city a lot of people chose to commute by bike, but you can also get here by metro.
We start exploring the city on the beautifully arranged streets and among those buildings with an impressive history but also looking good (beautifully maintained) heading towards the historic city center to Marienplatz, but before we get there we saw that there is the possibility to see the city from a Hop On Hop off bus (as we have seen in other European countries).
We also went into St Peter's Church for a while.
I couldn't miss taking a photo with Juliet and her famous boob.
I walked into a sea of people and discovered the New Town Hall, the administrative building really impressed me, an amazing architecture with a very tall tower where at certain times of the day a real show happens, to see a few hundred people standing staring at the new town hall tower watching that show, is something amazing (I leave you to discover what show it is).
If you have a sweet tooth.
You can also get here by metro.
We received from the hotel a map of the city with the main sights, which you may find useful.
Let's explore the inside of the New Town Hall, I was so curious if the inside is as spectacular.
As I expected and the inside of the city hall left me open-mouthed, giving Munich one of the three largest cities in Bavaria that made me fall in love with it.
In conclusion the city fully deserves its place in the top of the most beautiful European cities that perfectly combines amazing history with vibrant life, so I recommend you to come here and visit all the places here, plus the city does not have a specific time of year to come here, you can come whenever you want the city is beautiful all the time.
If you liked what you saw and read here please don't forget to give a LiKe, Follow, reBlog or a Comment, for all this I thank you, and until the next post I say goodbye.
