E3 in the east Czech republic - Day 29 ( Stage 4 )

During today's notes from my travels along the long-distance European route number 3, we will look at the lowest point of this stage, where the landscape will change drastically again, so that I can start climbing the mountains again.

Během dnešních zápisků z mých cest po dálkové Evropské trase číslo 3 se podíváme do nejnižšího bodu této etapy, kde se krajina opět razantně změní, abych potom zase mohly začít stoupat do hor.

By the sixth day of this stage, I woke up refreshed even before the alarm clock. I packed a sleeping things, which wasn't much because I was sleeping in a tourist shelter. Right from the morning I felt inspiration, so after a few steps I took a photo of the forest I was walking through.

Do šestého dne této etapy jsem se vzbudil svěží ještě před budíkem. Zabalil jsem ležení čehož nebylo hodně, protože jsem spal v turistickém přístřešku. Hned od rána jsem cítil inspiraci a tak po pár krocích jsem pořídil fotografii lesa kterým jsem procházel.

After leaving the forest, I walked past the test fields where new varieties of grain were grown, but I noticed that the sky was getting dangerously cloudy and it looked like it was going to rain again.

Po opuštění lesa jsem procházel kolem testovacích polí kde byly pěstovány nové odrůdy obilí, jenomže jsme si všiml, že se nebe nebezpečně zatahuj a vypadalo to že bude opět pršet.

Which also happened when I was descending past a small river called Gručovka towards Fulnek. But since I was in a good mood since morning, I didn't mind at all and continued on. I was even asked by several people on the way what I was doing there in this weather. In Fulnek, I replenished my food supplies for the last days of the trip, because I didn't know if I would still have a chance, and set off up the hill to the castle.

Což se také stalo když jsem klesal kolem říčky jménem Gručovka směrem k Fulneku. Ale vzhledem k tomu, že jsem byl od rána v dobré náladě mi to vůbec nevadilo a pokračoval jsem dál. Dokonce jsem byl cestou otázán několika lidmi co tam v tomhle počasí dělám. Ve Fulneku jsem doplnil zásoby jídla na poslední dny cesty, protože jsem nevěděl zda budu mít ještě možnost a vyrazil na kopec k zámku.

Between Fulnek and the village of Kletné, the landscape was quite photogenic, maybe it was just because I had never gone before. The path led through meadows, past the draws where cherries and sour cherries grew, so it was possible to freshen up, because after the rain it became warm again.

Mezi Fulnekem a obcí Kletné byla krajina dosti fotogenická, možná to bylo jenom proto že jsem podobnou ještě nešel. Cesta vedla přes louky, kolem remízků kde rostly třešně a višně a tak bylo možné se osvěžit, protože se po dešti udělalo zase vedro.

Under Kletné, a dam reservoir was marked on the map, so I planned to take a bath, but in reality it was quite small and occupied by fishermen. Moreover, the water was not exactly clean after the morning rain. So only the sweaty feet took it in.

Pod Kletné byla v mapě značena přehradní nádrž, takže jsem měl v plánu se okoupat, ale ve skutečnosti byla dost malá a obsazena rybáři. Navíc voda nebylo zrovna čistá po ranním dešti. Takže to odnesly pouze zpocené nohy.

Through the endless town of Suchdol nad Odrou, I reached an altitude of 250 meters above sea level. Here the landscape changed again because I entered the floodplain forest around the Odra river.

Přes nekonečně dlouhé městečko Suchdol nad Odrou jsem se dostal až do nadmořské výšky 250 metrů nad mořem. Zde se krajina opět změnila protože jsem vstoupil do lužního lesa v okolí řeky Odry.

Since this place is protected, because many protected animals live here, I decided to figuratively hunt one too. I spotted a Kingfisher, which was an ideal target. But the moment I was ready in the ideal position, a loud family on bikes drove past and scared the bird away and it didn't come back the whole time I was there. So I had to settle for just the fly.

Vzhledem k tomu že je toto místo chráněno, protože zde žije mnoho chráněných živočichů tak jsem se rozhodl, že nějakého také obrazně ulovím. Zahlédl jsem Ledňáčka, což byl ideální cíl. Ale ve chvíli kdy jsem byl připraven v ideální pozici projela okolo hlasitá rodina na kolech a ptáka mi vyplašila a již se nevrátil po celou dobu co jsem tam byl. Tak jsem se musel spokojit pouze s mouchou.

After the unsuccessful hunt, I had to go on the road again, took a few more pictures of the local landscape and started to climb the hill through another endless village.

Po neúspěšném lovu jsem se musel vydat opět na cestu, udělal ještě pár snímku zdejší krajina a přes Další nekonečnou vesnici začal stoupat do kopce.

On the hill, a view of Starý Jičín Castle opened up. I thought for a while whether to visit it, but the steep hill to the top put me off. Moreover, I learned that there is an unpleasant castellan there, who probably wouldn't let me sleep there.

Na kopečku se mi otevřel výhled na hrad Starý Jičín. Chvíli jsem přemýšlel zda ho navštívit, ale odradil mě prudký kopec na vrchol. Navíc jsem se dozvěděl, že je tam nepříjemný kastelán, který by mě tam asi nenechal přespat.

When I walked around the hill on which the castle stood, I could look at the view of the town of Nový Jičín, or the art created by the local cottagers.

Když jsem obcházel kolem kopce na, kterém stál hrad mohl jsem se koukat na výhled na město Nový Jičín, nebo umění, které zde vytvořili místní chataři.

To reach the goal I set for myself that day, I had to overcome one more obstacle. Or actually two. The first of them was the construction of the highway, the trail was closed here, but there was no detour. And since it was Sunday and there was nothing going on at the construction site, I took it through the construction site. The second obstacle was the steep hill to the top of Svinec (546m). In addition, to make it not so easy, I burdened myself with another 2 kilograms of water in the local spring at the bottom of the hill.

K cíli který jsem si ten den stanovil jsem musel překonat ještě jednu překážku. Nebo vlastně dvě. První z nich byla stavba dálnice, stezka zde byla uzavřena, ale nebyla zde žádná obchozí trasa. A jelikož byla neděle a na stavbě se nic nedělo , tak jsem to vzal skrz staveniště. Druhou překážkou byl strmý kopec na vrchol Svinec (546m). Navíc aby to nebylo tak jednoduché jsem se pod kopcem zatížil dalšími 2 kilogramy vody v místním prameni.

I cooked dinner on a bench at the top and waited for the sun to set when a crowd of people began to flock to the top. I had a few words with several of them. And then I devoted himself fully to the sunset.

Na vrcholu na lavičce jsem si uvařil večeři a čekal na západ slunce, když se na vrchol začalo trousit množství lidí. S několika z nich jsem prohodil pár slov. A pak se naplno věnoval západu slunce.

The sixth day was absolutely amazing from my point of view. I did surprisingly well which resulted in a daily dose of 40.3 kilometers with an elevation gain of 613 meters and a descent of 516 meters and it seemed to me that I was almost always going downhill. The landscape was changing at an incredible pace and everything was finished with the sunset on the Svinec hill.

Šestý den byl z mého pohledu naprosto úžasný. Šlo se mi až překvapivě dobře což vyústilo v denní dávku 40.3 kilometrů s převýšením 613 metrů a klesáním 516 metrů a to mi připadalo, že jdu skoro pořád z kopce. Krajina se měnila neuvěřitelným tempem a vše bylo zakončeno západem slunce na kopci Svinec.
