LIFE ABOVE THE CLOUDS- Two days in my most anticipated place "Sajek Valley"

LIFE ABOVE THE CLOUDS

Going to Sajek Valley has been my dream for a long time. Rise to the height of the clouds!! Standing on the ground, I was lucky enough to see the clouds gathering at the bottom of the hill. It has been a long wait though. There are such places in Bangladesh, so I feel lucky to be born in this country. Today I will share the story of my Sajek tour.

Long-term plans rarely succeed. The fun of a hastily planned tour is different. I will tell the story of 6 friends, 3 nights, 2 days today.
On October 6, we got tickets for Shyamoli Paribahan at 11 pm. The car will leave from Kamalapur. Everyone arrived at the counter on time by 11 o'clock. But there is no trace of the car. Finally the car arrived at 12 o'clock. The mood was a bit bad but it got better after getting into the car because the car was good.

the bus started running ...Leaving this city of bricks far away. Where the wonderful nature of the Creator awaits us.
After stopping for a while at Syedabad bus stand, the bus started moving again. But this time the driver started the race from Chittagong Road. The driver is pulling the car at speed, not paying attention to anyone. As soon as I got a light sleep, we reached Comilla. Have a light meal at the hotel and the bus started again. No more sleep. The time of entering Khagrachari was quite thrilling. The driver is turning the car around the hills like a movie. It is dark all around, nothing can be seen except the road. And the sides are like 45 degrees. After getting down from the bus, I heard that our driver was ranked among the top 5 drivers in Bangladesh who bet on 70/80 degree curvy roads.

Day 1

Finally got down at the bus stand at 7 o'clock. We took the advance ticket for the next day. Because tickets were not really available later. If you walk a little ahead, you will see the bridge, after crossing it, the moon car(chander gari) stands. There are two types of jeeps available here.
[Note:When these cars were first brought here during the British period, to reduce the distance between the hill and towns, the natives here thought that, they could reach the land of the moon by crossing the hilly winding roads. Since then the cars are called moon cars.]

There has some big white jeep. It's a slightly larger size jeep. In which 12 people can go and everyone can sit facing forward like a microbus. Rent is 9700.
Again, there are some green jeeps. Which can accommodate 9 people and the seats are on both sides like an Tampoo. So in my opinion it is a bit difficult to go into. Rent is 8100 or thereabouts.
In my opinion it is better to go in a white jeep. It gives a beautiful view of the mountains.

1664410506308.jpg

After having breakfast at "Jummi" hotel, we all got into the car. Among them, 7 people joined us to go in the car together.
Around 9 o'clock we stopped at Baghaichari. From there it will depart for Sajek at 10:30. All cars are released together. Basically, Sajek can be reached in 2 scots. 10:30 am and 3:00 pm. Same system when arriving. At no other time can you come or go.

1664410465988.jpg

The dream journey has begun. Even if you are not a mountain lover, this is the time to fall in love with the mountains. The car is moving towards the sky through the painted curved high road. The mountain peaks are visible on the far border. I wish.. If I could go to him. I could tell more stories. If only I could stay with him forever. The mountains speak to the mountain lovers. A language that only lovers can understand.
In the distance, the clouds are running in groups. I want to touch them, touch them.

1664410753190.jpg

Finally reached Sajek at 1:30. After checking in at the resort, I sat on the balcony. Wow....what an eye-opening scene. I do not know how to express in language. These are what I mean by peace in life. Seeing God's unique creation.

1664410780833.jpg

Ordered lunch earlier at Hotel Mantotti. Everyone got fresh and went to the hotel to eat. I was ordering bamboo chicken. When it was served, it seemed that it would taste bad. But after eating, why is it so tasty man!!!!

1664411379253.jpg

After a light rest, I left for Kanglak hill at around 4 o'clock. I left in Chad's car. Chad's car can go down to the foot of Kanglak Hill. It is better to go there if not earlier. After trekking for a while, Kanglak Hill is on top.

1664410367043.jpg

For me the beauty of the whole trip was hidden here. What a strange sight, what a terrifyingly beautiful creation. Everything will seem beneath you.
Then I came down from Kanglak Hill and watched the sunset at the helipad. Then I came to the resort and spent my free time. The beauty of the night scene is different. don't miss At night we had chicken BBQ and bread.

Day 2

I woke up early in the morning. I went to the balcony and saw the cloud market. The entire mountain is drowned in white clouds. We were really lucky. There was no fog that day. Just clouds and clouds. Everyone went to the helipad after getting fresh. There is a park next to it from there, I went there and bought a ticket for 20 taka. At the end of pictures, chats, experiences, when I leave the park, it is pouring rain. Sajek's rainy season fillings are different again. The time was really wonderful. I got everything. Cloud, rain, sun. All...

Then I came back to the cottage and went to have breakfast. Fried chicken and eggs. Aha.. What a taste, father. In that mind. By 10:30 we returned to Khagrachari from where the journey started. After lunch we first went to Alutila Cave. Although the hanging bridge was already done, I left it at the end. Because there was a lot of sun. After finishing Alutila we went to Tareng View Point. The entire Khagrachari city can be seen from here. Many places are good. Then I went to Risang Jharna. There is a lot of downhill going down and then going up again so it is a bit difficult. The Risang fountain is a bit risky. Because the water of the spring is very steep. Many people slip down there. It's fun, but there's a lot of risk involved. Many have died doing it. So whatever you do think about yourself and your family. Don't make people suffer for whole life while taking 2 minutes of fun.

1664410557508.jpg

Then I went to the hanging bridge when I arrived. Nothing seemed unusual. It seems fair. Then everyone came to the counter. I ate light food and got on the bus. Then what usually happens in every tour is what happened. After some time fainting fell asleep.

Our Visited Spots:
• Sajek
• Alutila Cave
• Number
• Risang fountain
• Suspension Bridge

we should take care of:

The price of water in Sajeke is very high so you can take water from Khagrachari. In my opinion the perfect time to visit Sajek is before winter and during monsoon when the rain is less. Because there is no fog during these times, all you see is clouds. If you go outside of holidays, it is wise to go and fix the cottage. But there are some popular cottages which are not available unless booked in advance.Be sure to take some clothes with full sleeves. will work And if it's winter, take more clothes than normal. It is very cold in the mountains. That is beyond imagination.Take the dressing 1/2 hour before lunch or dinner. Be sure to keep emergency medicine with you. painkiller tablets, saline, cold medicine etc.Try to stay on the right side/east side of the resort while entering Sajek. Because the sun rises in that direction, you can see the sunrise from the room.

The most important thing is...

Please do not litter at anywhere. There are many small dustbins that you can use to dispose of waste. 10 years ago Sajek and today's Sajek, but many differences are only for littering everywhere. The place belongs to your country so you should keep your bedroom clean as well as that part of the country.......

thank you for your attention

Honestly, it has been one of my dream to get to Sajek one day. But due to several reasons the time and plan never really came out to take a visit out there. Although, plenty of youtube videos was seen and as it now seems I probably know almost every corner of Sajek lol.

But I must admit atleast once a visit to this magestic place is indeed needed. Atleast to feel the environment of the morning and to witness the sun coming up during early morning.

While I am pretty sure you have enjoyed this trip and I must say that the images looked very very impressive. At first glance I thought of this place as somewhere else, which I am used to seeing in different vlogs in Youtube.

Lovely images indeed!

hay bro, its nice to meet you, i hope you will visit Sajek soon. The place is beautiful, but people have ruined it. I prefer going to Sajek in off season. I won't go anymore. I went twice. I am disappointed. The beauty of the place
getting wasted

Anyway, thanks.
