Beautiful countryside landscapes between Bargi and San Pantaleo. (ENG/ESP)

Good evening blog friends today I'm taking you with me again on one of my little trips around my city, as you know the countryside of all of Tuscany is a place of rare beauty and luckily my city is surrounded by countryside with its typical backdrops of wide fields, trees usually cypresses typical of my region, farmhouses and when the weather is nice a magnificent clean and blue sky above the fields, a truly beautiful view.

But let's start from the beginning we started our walk from a small village called San Pantaleo, this village is located about ten minutes from the city and is made up of small very pretty colored houses, many similar streets that wind through the fields, it is a small country village with only houses and fields but also a small and pretty church, dedicated to the saint of the village which as the name says is Santo Pantaleo, a typical rural style church dating back to the Middle Ages, it is probably not very popular because we found it closed and without opening times posted on the door.

Both San Pantaleo and Bargi which is the next town are located near the Ombrone river, the main river that crosses the city and helps fertilize and irrigate the countryside areas, around the river in the past there were many rural and peasant locations it was an area made up of poor and simple families who lived off agriculture, today however it is a renowned area because it is in the green but close to the city so buying a house here costs a lot

Buenas noches amigos del blog hoy os llevo de nuevo conmigo en uno de mis pequeños viajes por mi ciudad, como sabéis los campos de toda la Toscana son lugares de rara belleza y por suerte mi ciudad está rodeada de campos con sus típicos fondos de campos amplios, árboles normalmente cipreses típicos de mi región, casas de campo y cuando el tiempo es agradable un magnífico cielo limpio y azul sobre los campos, una vista realmente hermosa. Pero empecemos por el principio empezamos nuestra caminata desde un pequeño pueblo llamado San Pantaleo, este pueblo se encuentra a unos diez minutos de la ciudad y esta formado por pequeñas casas de colores muy bonitas, muchas calles similares que serpentean por los campos, es un pequeño pueblo rural con solo casas y campos pero también una pequeña y bonita iglesia, dedicada al santo del pueblo que como su nombre lo dice es Santo Pantaleo, una típica iglesia de estilo rural que data de la edad media, probablemente no sea muy frecuentada porque la encontramos cerrada y sin horarios publicados en la puerta.

Tanto San Pantaleo como Bargi que es el siguiente pueblo se encuentran cerca del río Ombrone, el principal río que atraviesa la ciudad y ayuda a fertilizar e irrigar las zonas rurales, alrededor del río en el pasado había muchas localidades rurales y campesinas, era una zona formada por familias pobres y sencillas que vivían de la agricultura, hoy en día sin embargo es una zona reconocida porque está en el verde pero cerca de la ciudad por lo que comprar una casa aquí cuesta mucho!

After San Pantaleo we went to Bargi, the villages are very similar, they are almost twins, but Bargi has many more fields and a larger countryside area. Bargi was also an area of peasant origin, today many people like us go there either for a walk to enjoy the view of the countryside while walking or even by bike, it is an easy route because it is all even with no climbs or descents. It is a great place to walk, we wandered around various streets that led to the fields, it was very relaxing with really beautiful countryside views and a calming effect, there was also very little traffic so no one disturbed our peaceful walk. They are very beautiful and quiet areas to spend a few hours walking in serenity.

The crops as you can see are very classic, corn, olive groves and other cereals, some fields instead were barren and others unfortunately abandoned we also glimpsed some abandoned farmhouses a real shame, in this area there are also several agritourisms also linked to organic agriculture and ecology. It would be nice next time to try to eat in one of these agritourisms and then take a regenerating walk to digest among the country fields!

Después de San Pantaleo fuimos a Bargi, los pueblos son muy parecidos, son casi gemelos pero Bargi tiene muchos más campos y una superficie rural más grande. Bargi también fue una zona de origen campesino, hoy muchos como nosotros vamos allí ya sea a pasear para disfrutar de la vista del campo mientras caminamos o incluso en bicicleta, es una ruta fácil porque es toda llana sin subidas ni bajadas. Es un gran lugar para caminar, paseamos por varios senderos que conducen a los campos, fue muy relajante con algunas vistas del campo realmente hermosas y tranquilas, también había muy poco tráfico, por lo que nadie perturbó nuestra tranquila caminata. Son zonas muy bonitas y tranquilas para pasar unas horas paseando con tranquilidad.

Los cultivos como podéis ver son muy clásicos, maíz, olivares y otros cereales, algunos campos sin embargo estaban estériles y otros lamentablemente abandonados también vislumbramos algunas masías abandonadas una auténtica lástima, en esta zona también hay varios agroturismos vinculados también a la agricultura ecológica y la ecología. ¡Estaría bien la próxima vez intentar comer en una de estas casas rurales y luego dar un paseo regenerador para hacer la digestión entre los campos del campo!
