Visit to Pampelido beach - Portugal

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well 🙂 Today I want to tell you about a beach I visited at the end of last week. Last weekend there was an incredible sunny day, completely unlike this weekend when it has been raining a lot here in Portugal. The beach is called Pampelido beach and I loved it. It is located in the north of Portugal and not many people know about this beach apart from the locals, most of whom are fishermen.

There are few houses in the area, there are about 6 houses and people live in 3 of them. In these 3 houses, fishermen live and the women do the housework and make the nets for the men to go fishing. The houses are local accommodation, but they are more protected in the summer because they are right on the beach, which is incredible. I live near the beach but I have never had that feeling of leaving the house first thing in the morning and seeing the sea right away, it must be incredible 🙂

In one of the fishermen's houses there were these dry diving suits that they use when it's colder and when they're both at sea.

I really liked this beach because there was hardly anyone there. The beaches here in the north are very popular but they are quite hidden. I spoke to a gentleman who told us about this by chance. He was saying that he lived about 15 minutes away but that whenever he could, he would walk to that beach and that in the summer he also usually goes to that beach because it is never just the fishermen and the people who rent those 3 houses in the summer.

The sea was super calm, a great day for the fishermen to hear them talking 🤣 the sea is one of the best things that nature has, I speak for myself. The sea calms me down, every time I see the sea it seems to make me happy. The sound brings an inexplicable lightness, don't you agree? And I'm very lucky because where I live I'm surrounded by beaches 🤣

I love taking photos, I would love to buy a camera but for now I use my phone, the Xiaomi 14T pro. I love taking photos 😉

At the end of our tour we decided to go to a restaurant for lunch, not there because there was nothing there, neither restaurants nor supermarkets, we had to go to one of the beaches next door which had an Italian restaurant, it was incredible, for starters we ordered garlic bread with this incredible cheese, then we ordered Italian pasta which was the house specialty and we also ordered a mushroom pizza which was also delicious 😄

Olá a todos, espero que estejam bem 🙂 Hoje quero falar sobre uma praia que visitei no final da semana passada. No último fim de semana, o dia estava incrivelmente ensolarado, completamente diferente deste fim de semana, que choveu muito aqui em Portugal. A praia se chama Pampelido e eu adorei. Fica no norte de Portugal e poucas pessoas a conhecem, exceto os moradores locais, a maioria pescadores.

Há poucas casas na região, cerca de 6 casas, e 3 delas são habitadas por pessoas. Nessas 3 casas, moram pescadores e as mulheres fazem o trabalho doméstico e confeccionam as redes para os homens pescarem. As casas são acomodações locais, mas são mais protegidas no verão porque ficam bem na praia, o que é incrível. Moro perto da praia, mas nunca tive aquela sensação de sair de casa logo de manhã e ver o mar logo de cara. Deve ser incrível 🙂

Na casa de um dos pescadores havia essas roupas de mergulho secas que eles usam quando está mais frio e quando estão ambos no mar.

Gostei muito desta praia porque quase não tinha ninguém lá. As praias aqui no norte são muito populares, mas são bem escondidas. Conversei com um senhor que nos contou isso por acaso. Ele disse que morava a uns 15 minutos de distância, mas que sempre que podia, ia a pé até lá e que no verão também costuma ir lá porque nunca são só os pescadores e as pessoas que alugam aquelas três casas no verão.

O mar estava super calmo, um dia ótimo para os pescadores ouvirem a conversa deles 🤣 O mar é uma das melhores coisas que a natureza tem, falo por mim. O mar me acalma, toda vez que o vejo, parece que me faz feliz. O som traz uma leveza inexplicável, não concorda? E eu tenho muita sorte porque onde moro estou cercada de praias 🤣

Adoro tirar fotos, adoraria comprar uma câmera, mas por enquanto uso meu celular, o Xiaomi 14T Pro. Adoro tirar fotos 😉

No final do nosso passeio, decidimos ir a um restaurante para almoçar, não foi lá porque não havia nada lá, nem restaurantes nem supermercados, tivemos que ir a uma das praias ao lado que tinha um restaurante italiano, foi incrível, de entrada pedimos pão de alho com esse queijo incrível, depois pedimos massa italiana que era a especialidade da casa e também pedimos uma pizza de cogumelos que também estava deliciosa 😄
