Scaliger Castle of Sirmione - The History of a old beautiful castle in Italy trip.

Scaliger Castle It was originally the residence of nobles in the past. It is now a museum open to the public. next to the lake There is a pier and a moat bridge surrounding it. There are ducks swimming. The castle is one of the most complete in Italy. It is considered to be the most unique castle because it is located beside the river. There is a wall in the water. And there is a bridge that can be opened and closed to control the signal.
The Scaligero Castle is the symbol of Sirmione and welcomes visitors at the entrance of the historical town centre with its towers and the geometry of swallowtail battlements and walls. On entering the castle the first thing you notice is the courtyard, followed by the walkways and the harbour which sheltered boats. Conclude your visit by climbing the castle’s high tower and enjoy spectacular views of the lake.
Saligero Castle of Simione is a fortress built in the mid-14th century on the waters of a lake by the Varonese Della Scala family, named Rocca Scaligera. Cansignorio and Antonio II della The palace dates back to the time and was intended to serve as a defensive fortress for the entire mountainous domain of Verona and the surrounding area. It was ruled by the della Scala family between 1259 and 1387 and later lost its importance to the Peschiera fortress and was used as a military depot until it was restored in 1919 in Prague. seen in the present
Walking inside the castle, you will find various restaurants. Ice cream shop and shop selling various souvenir products There were a lot of tourists but not too crowded. The beauty of this castle is combined with the classic, retro feel of the city. Various houses still remain as they were from that era. This makes the city have a unique charm that is different from anywhere else.
We went to this place in the evening and there would not be much time to climb the tower to see the scenery from the castle itself. People were still standing in line to get inside. But we didn't have much time because we wanted to walk around and admire the atmosphere while there was still light. When we went, the season was beginning to get cold, the weather was quite cold, and the rain was starting to start approaching.
The water in the canal surrounding the castle still has a beautiful color because it is next to a lake. Flocks of ducks can be seen swimming around. There were many people walking and enjoying the atmosphere. We walked the other way to the lake. In the meantime, I kept taking pictures. Walk all the way to the lake. View of the lake as far as the eye can see. The atmosphere is very good. On the side is the old and classic castle garden. I really like this kind of atmosphere.
After walking at the lake view, we walked back. Keep walking. Along the way, there are still various shops to be seen. Another point is the center point, which is an intersection where there are flowers crawling on the buildings. I really like this place. And don't forget to take pictures. We spent a lot of time there. It started to get dark, the weather was cold, and it started raining, so we all came out.

Had no clue about Scaliger Castle until now but it does look so different from everything seen so far. I am pretty sure it could serve for commercial purposes too or even for movies/series and not just for the tourists. Seems like a complete scenery and package of information to me :)
