Jibacoa Beach...stunning

Jibacoa is a beach on the northern coast of Mayabeque province. It is not a famous tourist paradise like Varadero, but it has an unmatched beauty...the contrast between the green of the mountains and the blue of the sea.

Just a few days ago, we were there, and the bad weather that recently hit our island had erased all beauty from its waters. The turquoise blue had turned to gray, and its calm had transformed into aggressive waves. The beach was not showing its typical beauty.

Luckily for me, I remembered a trip we took some time before and dove into my folders in search of the images taken that day. Today, I bring them to you as a gift, even though our summer is now fading into the past.

These photos were taken from a lookout at the mountain's summit. Unfortunately, we later learned that the access path to it is in very poor condition and the climb, at present, is nearly impossible. Yet another reason I'm glad to have held on to these snapshots.

I hope these stunning views have brightened your day 🌞⛱️🌄

Playa Jibacoa...deslumbrante

Indeed, stunning views! All that green 💚 is so beautiful!

I am sorry to hear about the bad weather that hit the country recently... and I hope that the grey water will become turquoise again! :))

The most annoying thing is to go on a scheduled trip in the bad weather, did you take any photos in this trip to show the contrast between the two?

Btw, it's beautiful on a good day, let's hope you get this back very soon
