Una villa bonita en Araya (Esp | Eng)

Araya, capital del Municipio Cruz Salmerón Acosta, punto principal de la Península de Araya (Estado Sucre, Venezuela), cuenta con atractivos lugares: playas, castillo, salinas, cerros… Aunque es un lugar que no ha sido tratado de la mejor manera por los gobernantes y otros, particularmente en los últimos años, conserva su ruda y natural belleza.

La presentaré nuevamente (en posts anteriores lo había hecho: 1 y 2) a través de mis fotos y fijando mi atención en una posada del sitio.

Hacia el lado del llamado Castillo de Araya (su denominación exacta es Real Fortaleza Santiago de Arroyo de Araya) se encuentran la playa más visitada, de una gran extensión de arena blanca y fina y de aguas muy claras y moderadamente frías. La vista desde ella (y más si se sube al castillo) del mar y el horizonte es espléndida, con su luminosidad deslumbradora y su calor envolvente.

En este espacio, durante mucho tiempo, prosperaron puestos de comida y esparcimiento con adecuados servicios a los visitantes. También progresaron varias posadas, en general todas de buena atención a los turistas nacionales o internacionales. Esto, lamentablemente, por razones diversas (crisis socioeconómica del país y la región, indolencia gubernamental, pandemia, adversidades naturales), ha decaído, pero conservando su atracción singular.

Sin embargo, se mantiene en pie la —para mí— mejor posada del lugar, cuyo nombre ya es muy atractivo: ”Villa Bonita”. Se fue haciendo poco a poco, hasta que desde hace unos 13 años abrió sus puertas al turismo, bajo la amable atención de la Sra. Amanda, su dueña. Está ubicada en un lugar un poco retirado de la playa, lo que la favorece ante algún fenómeno meteorológico, como el mar de fondo que afectó recientemente esa zona.

Como mostraré a continuación, se trata de un lugar muy agradable, de cuidada presentación y decoración, con espacios cómodos, habitaciones confortables y bien equipadas y ornamentadas. Ofrece servicio de restaurante, con sencillos platos, y un rico café. Es muy higiénico, pues el aseo y mantenimiento es permanente. Tiene entrada delantera por la calle que pasa al frente, y una salida a la playa por la parte posterior, próxima al jardín.

Además de esto, debo destacar la excelente atención por parte de la propietaria y administradora, así como del personal asistente.

A beautiful village in Araya (Esp | Eng)

Araya, capital of the Cruz Salmerón Acosta Municipality, the main point of the Araya Peninsula (Sucre State, Venezuela), has attractive sites: beaches, a castle, salt flats, hills... Although it is a place that has not been treated in the best way by government officials and others, particularly in recent years, it retains its rugged and natural beauty. I will introduce it again (I have done so in previous posts: 1 and 2) through my photos and focusing my attention on a local inn.
Towards the side of the so-called Araya Castle (its exact name is Real Fortaleza Santiago de Arroyo de Araya) is the most visited beach, with a large expanse of fine white sand and very clear, moderately cold waters. The view from it (and even more so if you climb the castle) of the sea and the horizon is splendid, with its dazzling light and enveloping warmth.
For a long time, food and entertainment stalls with good services for visitors thrived in this space. Several inns also flourished, generally all of them providing very good service to national and international tourists. Unfortunately, for various reasons (the country's socioeconomic crisis, government indolence, the pandemic, natural adversities), this has declined, but retaining its unique attraction.
However, what I consider to be the best inn in the area remains standing, with its already very attractive name: "Villa Bonita." It grew little by little, until it opened its doors to tourism about 13 years ago, under the kind care of Mrs. Amanda, its owner. It is located a little away from the beach, which makes it more suitable for weather events, such as the swell that recently affected the area. As I will show below, this is a very pleasant place, carefully presented and decorated, with comfortable spaces, comfortable, well-equipped, and ornate rooms. It offers restaurant service, with simple dishes and delicious coffee. It is very hygienic, as it is constantly cleaned and maintained. It has a front entrance from the street that runs in front, and an exit to the beach at the back, near the garden.
In addition, I must highlight the excellent service provided by the owner and manager, as well as the staff.
