Hey, today I'm going to share with you an interesting place I visited. I had the opportunity to visit Estergon Castle in Konya and I really enjoyed it. What makes it interesting is that Estergon Castle is actually in Hungary. I think they built a replica of it here and they did a pretty good job.

First let me tell you the story of my visit here, I had to go to my girlfriend's family and I barely found a ticket for myself because the buses are very full these days. However, on the way there were 6 hours before my bus in Konya was due to leave so I decided to spend some time here somehow. While waiting at the bus terminal, I looked what was around on the map and saw this castle about 20 minutes walk away. The best thing I could do was to visit this place while there were still 6 hours before my bus was due to leave. Here is a photo of it from a distance.

Another photo from a different angle and closer up. Having a parking lot nearby is a huge advantage and people take advantage of it. I think most of them belong to the employees inside because when I visited the castle, there were not enough people to fill so many cars.

The closer you get to the castle, the more beautiful the view becomes. The sky, the birds and the gentle breeze lifted my mood. Although there are not many people inside, many people prefer this place for walking. Some people were also lying on the grass, for me it was too cold to lie on the grass.

There was a historical car in front of the castle. Unfortunately, there was no information plate indicating the year of this car. How old do you think it is? Or is it really old? Maybe it is a replica, just like the castle, and was built later. It sure looks cool.

Inside the castle there is an area with souvenir shops. This place is also very well designed. The shopkeepers pull up a chair and sit outside and chat. Nobody was shopping, but maybe it was like that on the day I was there and normally everywhere is crowded. This is good for me because I don't like crowds.

The buildings inside look very cool. I've always been a fan of wooden buildings as an image. This shop was closed but if it was open I could have my girlfriend's picture painted here. It would be a nice gift. It's an art studio where they do charcoal painting.

In front of the castle there are trees and benches for people to sit and spend time. What made me really like this place was that people could sit and spend time in peace. After visiting the castle, I spent most of my time on the benches here, listening to the birds and the wind.

A photo of the castle walls and a photo from a wider angle. I feel like I've come a long way in photography since I discovered wide-angle photography, which allows me to fit a lot more into a frame, and also allows me to take horizontal photos of buildings that I would normally have to take vertically because they wouldn't fit in the frame.

It is also possible to go up on the ramparts and watch the view from higher up. Let's climb the stairs together.

The third photo is my favorite, most of you probably agree with me. It's too bad that there are so many apartment buildings around, the castle would have a much better view if they weren't there. Imagine you are in the Middle Ages and you are the governor of this city. You would enjoy the view from the castle. I imagine a much better view than this, but I wonder what it was like then?

As I sat there I lost track of time. When it was time to leave I wanted to take a walk around the castle before I left. I tried to take photos from different angles. You can see the stairs where I climbed the ramparts.

There was a walkway leading to a mini lighthouse. Although you can't see it in the photo, there were a lot of seagulls around it.

The castle gate looks really old, doesn't it? It was really old. There was an information sign there that said it was a 17th century gate. I wanted to take a close photo of it. Even though the woods are rotting, it is still intact and very majestic.

Remember my favorite photo I showed you when I was taking pictures of the city walls? This white building is the building in that photo. I wonder if this place belongs to someone, I would love to live here. I would see people visiting the castle every day and I would have a perfect view.

For those who are curious, here is the view. You can see almost the whole castle. It doesn't look bad from this angle, does it? By the way, I hope you have seen the siege tower used to climb the walls next to the castle. I must admit it is a nice detail.

Last but not least I would like to show you this catapult in the backyard of the castle. This might be the first catapult I have seen in real life and it looks just like the ones used in the war. Even the details on the wheels give the design a historical feel.

All in all, I had a very enjoyable 3-4 hours here and I would be happy to visit again if I am ever in the area. I strongly recommend you to visit. Thank you very much for reading, take care and have a great day!

Hey, bugün sizinle gezdiğim ilginç bir yeri paylaşacağım. Konya'daki Estergon Kalesini gezme fırsatı buldum ve gerçekten çok keyifli zaman geçirdim. Burayı ilginç yapan şey ise Estergon Kalesi'nin aslında Macaristan'da olması. Sanırım buraya bir replikasını inşa etmişler ve oldukça iyi iş çıkarmışlar.

Önce burayı gezmemin hikayesini size anlatayım, kız arkadaşımın ailesinin yanına gitmem gerekiyordu ve bu aralar otobüslerde doluluk oranı çok yüksek olduğu için zar zor kendime bir bilet buldum. Ancak yol üzerinde Konya'daki otobüsümün kalkmasına 6 saat vardı ben de burada bir şekilde zaman geçirmeye karar verdim. Otobüs terminalinde beklerken haritadan etrafta ne olduğuna baktım ve yaklaşık 20 dakikalık yürüme mesafesinde bu kaleyi gördüm. Otobüsümün kalkmasına hala 6 saat varken yapabileceğim en iyi şey burayı gezmekti. İşte uzaktan bir fotoğrafı.

Daha yakından ve başka bir açıdan fotoğrafı. Yakınında bir otopark olması çok büyük avantaj ve insanlar bunu değerlendiriyor. Çoğunun içerideki çalışanlara ait olduğunu düşünüyorum çünkü kalenin içini gezdiğimde bu kadar arabayı dolduracak insan yoktu.

Kaleye yaklaşıkça manzara daha da güzelleşiyor. Gökyüzü, kuşlar ve hafif hafif esen rüzgarla birlikte modum yükseldi. İçeride çok insan olmasa da pek çok insan burayı yürüyüş yapmak için tercih ediyor. Bazı insanlar da çimlerin üzerinde uzanıyordu, bana göre çimlerin üzerinde uzanmak için fazla soğuk.

Kalenin önünde tarihi bir araba vardı. Maalesef bu arabanın kaç yılına ait olduğunu belirten bir bilgi levhası yoktu. Sizce ne kadar eski? Ya da gerçekten eski mi? Belki tıpkı kale gibi bir replikadır ve sonradan yapılmıştır. Havalı göründüğü kesin.

Kalenin iç kısmında hediyelik eşya satılan dükkanların olduğu bir alan var. Burası da çok güzel dizayn edilmiş. Dükkan sahipleri, birer sandalye çekip dışarı oturmuşlar ve sohbet ediyorlar. Hiç kimse alışveriş yapmıyordu ama belki benim geldiğim gün böyle olmuştur ve normalde her yer kalabalıktır. Bu benim için iyi çünkü çok kalabalığı sevmem.

İçerideki binalar çok havalı görünüyor. Ahşap binaların görüntü olarak hep hayranı olmuşumdur. Sizce de çok estetik değil mi? Bu dükkan kapalıydı ama açık olsa burada kız arkadaşımın bir resmini çizdirebilirdim. Güzel bir hediye olurdu. Karakalem resim yapılan bir sanat atölyesiymiş.

Kalenin ön kısmında yine ağaçlar ve insanların oturup zaman geçirebilmesi için banklar var. Burayı gerçekten sevmemi sağlayan şey huzur içinde insanların oturup zaman geçirebilmesiydi. Ben de kaleyi gezdikten sonra zamanımın çoğunu buradaki banklarda geçirdim. Kuşların ve rüzgarın sesini dinledim.

Surların bir fotoğrafı ve daha geniş açıdan çekilmiş bir fotoğraf. Geniş açıdan fotoğraf çekmeyi keşfettiğimden beri fotoğrafçılık konusunda çağ atlamış gibi hissediyorum. Bu sayede bir kareye çok daha fazla şey sığdırabiliyorum ayrıca normal şartlar altında kadraja sığmayacağı için dikey çekmem gereken binaların fotoğrafını yatay olarak çekebiliyorum.

Surlara çıkıp daha yüksekten manzarayı izlemek de mümkün. Hadi gelin birlikte merdivenlerden çıkalım.

Üçüncü fotoğraf benim favorim, muhtemelen çoğunuz benimle aynı fikirdesinizdir. Etrafta çok fazla apartman olması kötü, eğer onlar olmasa kale çok daha iyi bir manzaraya sahip olabilirdi. Orta çağda olduğunuzu ve bu şehrin valisi olduğunuzu hayal edin. Kaleden manzaranın tadını çıkarırdınız. Bundan çok daha iyi bir manzara hayal ediyorum ama acaba o dönemde buralar nasıldı?

Otururken zamanın nasıl geçtiğini anlamadım. Ayrılma zamanım yaklaşınca gitmeden etrafta biraz yürüyüş yapmak istedim. Farklı açılardan fotoğraflar çekmeye çalıştım. Karşıda surlara çıktığım merdivenleri görebilirsiniz.

Mini bir deniz fenerine giden yürüyüş yolu vardı. Fotoğrafta hiç görünmese de etrafında bir sürü martı vardı.

Kalenin kapısı gerçekten eski görünüyor değil mi? Gerçekten de eskiydi. Orada bir bilgi levhasında 17. yüzyıldan kalma bir kapı olduğu yazıyordu. Yakından bir fotoğrafını çekmek istedim. Ağaçlar çürümeye yüz tutsa da sapa sağlam ve çok görkemli duruyor.

Surlardan etrafı çekerken size gösterdiğim favori fotoğrafı hatırladınız mı? İşte bu beyaz bina o fotoğraftaki bina. Buranın birine ait olup olmadığını merak ediyorum, burada yaşamak isterdim. Her gün kaleyi ziyaret eden insanları görürdüm ve mükemmel bir manzaram olurdu.

Merak edenler için işte manzarası. Kalenin neredeyse tamamını görebiliyorsunuz. Bu açıdan da hiç fena görünmüyor değil mi? Bu arada umarım kalenin yanındaki surlara çıkmak için kullanılan kuşatma kulesini görmüşsünüzdür. Hoş bir detay olduğunu itiraf etmeliyim.

Son olarak kalenin arka bahçesindeki bu mancınığı size göstermek istiyorum. Bu benim gerçek hayatta gördüğüm ilk mancınık olabilir ve tıpkı savaşta kullanılanlara benziyor. Tekerleklerdeki detayları bile dizayna tarihi bir hava katmış.
