A tour of Malcesine, the pearl of Lake Garda

One of the places I like most on Lake Garda is undoubtedly Malcesine, and every now and then, especially during the weekend, it's always worth taking a walk to eat a good plate of lake fish, which in some restaurants here are really good.
Coming at this time of year may seem a bit chaotic, because now it is starting to be invaded especially by German tourists, but there are still places like the walk between Malcesine and Cassone, really quiet places, where you don't find many tourists. As I always say, just look for a nice and calm place and you will find it.

Malcesine is very special because in the 1800s it was at the centre of the journey to Italy of several writers and poets including the famous Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, who surely many of you know, and I think that even now one is fascinated by the fact that this small town is practically right next to the mountains. Here there are many cycle paths and there is also a bit of beach but it is mostly made of stones so it is not very comfortable.
as you can see, many people, even the Germans, bring their little boats here to go around the lake a bit, maybe find some more intimate place. That's why there are these little piers that partly seem abandoned but in reality are for private use, precisely because there are many houses nearby, so they park their boats here.

However, at any time of the year, come and walk around here, you will never find it cold because this area of ​​Aurigarda is quite famous because it always maintains a mild temperature even in the middle of winter when perhaps in other parts of Italy it is colder.

Let's see if I can manage it next time or visit the castle that I recommend you visit, and I'll also tell you a little anecdote that happened to Goethe, he was basically drawing the castle and the local authorities stopped him because they thought he was a spy. Let's say that people around here are always a bit particular, they always look at you with a particular look.
