Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Museum in Mumbai

Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Vastu Sangrahalaya, formerly known as the Prince of Wales Museum of Western India, is a prominent museum in Mumbai (Bombay) that showcases the history of India from prehistoric times to the modern era, along with various collections from around the world.

The museum was renamed in 1998 to honor Shivaji, the Maratha king, Shiv Chhatrapati Raja Shivaji Bhosale.
Before we visit the museum, I would like to explore the surrounding area in the heart of South Mumbai, near The Gateway of India, .

The famous Hotel Taj Mahal Palace is located facing the Gateway of India.

The gateway of India is usually full of tourists and street vendors.

The big statue of the great philosopher Swami Vivekanand creates some peaceful atmosphere in the hustle and bustle.

After around 500 meters of walking we arrive at the gate to the Chhatrapati Shivaji Vastu Sangrahalaya.
Upon entering we no longer feel we are in Mumbai. it is such a nice peaceful and cool atmosphere.
The museum is designed in an Indo-Saracenic architectural style, which incorporates elements from various architectural traditions, including Mughal, Maratha, and Jain influences. In total 3-acre area. The building is surrounded by a garden adorned with palm trees and flower beds. In the garden, the statue of the Prince of Wales is hardly visible from the entrance, because of the big trees.

In the garden, there is a striking huge Buddha’s head in a tilted position,

surprisingly, the back side of the head is hollow and features a sleeping Buddha statue inside it.
For visitors the entrance fee/ticket is necessary.
The entrance fee for adults is Rs.150, with an additional Rs.50 for the audio guide. For children, the fee varies by age. Foreign visitors are charged Rs.700, which includes a complimentary audio guide.
The museum offers a baggage counter where visitors can store their belongings, as well as a lost and found counter in case items are misplaced. There is also a first aid counter available for emergencies.
A proper visit to the museum typically takes around three hours. The artifacts on display range from Persian, Greek, Assyrian, Tibetan, and more, with many items donated by prominent citizens, including the Tata family and other significant businessmen.

In the lobby different historical sculptures from Gupta, Chalukya, and Rastrakula excavations Artefacts from their time.(Indian History) the information by an audio guide.

As well as some from Elephanta Cave.

Some artifacts from the ancient Indus Valley civilization.

Old-style Maharashtrian costume and jewelry.

old-style Shuttle looms

impressive royal textiles with silver thread

On silk cloth silver and gold embroidery a Beautiful collection.
We learned in history that silk, jewelry, and spices attracted Europeans to India.

Display of traditional cloth making in different parts of India.
and cloth printing blocks.

Maratha and Mughal warriors used different types of daggers and shields.
Indian history is vast, offering endless opportunities for exploration. As an Indian in school, I learned a few things about our history, but visiting a museum like this and gaining deeper knowledge is truly invaluable.
This is enough, for now,see you again soon with some more attractions. Thank you for visiting my post!

Dear @acidyo, I have to draw your attention to here before it late., I noticed all shared posts have gotten your upvote, but not mine. There are many messes in my shares here in @reditposh. I know that when many shares, it is hard for you people to go for each share manually. But it often happens with my well-voted posts. I shared my OC post on Reddit three days ago, in #r/incredibleindia**, but after I shared it, I noticed it was shared six months ago by @loding on another subreddit. but somehow Reddit's filter deleted that post.
Now I am confused about whether my post will be valid for my rewards in #RedditPosh. I am not very comfortable with each time you upvoting my complaint comments. It has happened many times. Please consider it like normal shares. Before it to late Some screenshots are here. Please don't think I am complaining, but somehow somebody has to notify those things that everybody wants to earn here.
It should create a new comment if a previous share by another user has been paid out, has it not done this?
Please link to the redditposh comment instead of sharing this many pictures.
Sorry, I don't know how to do it. I just did according to my understanding. I hope I don't need to do it in the future because I hope it will not happen again. Best Regards
Is it like this? I am learning, not an expert

.
You're right, it should create a new comment if the sharer is a new account that hasn't shared it before and the previous sharers comment has already paid out. We will be looking to fix this, thank you.
Thank you for considering this.:)
It has been almost six days, and nothing is happening here.@acidyo Greetings.
Mumbai seems such an amazing city and what a wonderful museum I especially like the ancient sculptures!!
Such a great wonderful museum much to appreciate and see. Some really neat sculptures. The daggers and shields were nice to see. The hollow Buddha head laying on its side was cool as well. Thanks for sharing your experiences and walking us through it.
