travel to one of the grandest mountains in central Aceh, Indonesia

Hello Travel Companion

Entering June 2023, I took a trip to one of the mountains that is very famous for its beauty, namely Mount Geurudong whose center is in central Aceh Indonesia.
Actually, I had planned to travel to the center of this mountain for a long time, but only yesterday I was able to travel.
I know to reach the top of this mountain is not so easy, because there are many things we have to prepare in advance.
I planned to climb the mountain with my friends.
one week ago I have done the preparations or have done mitting for what preparations I have to prepare before we start leaving.
We traveled on several motorbikes to get to our destination.
And we had to service all our vehicles before we departed.
I was very curious about the natural scenery when I was up there.

JOURNEY BEGINS

By saying bismillah, around 09:00 WIB my friends and I began to move towards the destination.
I estimate to reach where I and my friends have to travel about 7 km it also depends on the route we pass, hopefully there will be no rain there, at the beginning of the journey we have to pass several villages one of the villages RATA ARA

The atmosphere of this village looks very clean, I began to feel something different in this village.
Along this village road I can still walk leisurely, because about 2 km from this village the road has been paved.
The atmosphere in this village began to cool, I did not understand the words welcome to Kampung Rata Ara.
Ara language is one of the regional languages, incidentally in this village there are several tribes who settle here.
one of them is the Gayo tribe, I don't understand the slightest about this language.. LoL.. 😀😀

START CONCRETE RABAK ROAD
After passing 2 km using the paved road, I began to find a concrete rabak road, this is still profitable for me, because I we can still keep moving.
Our journey started a little extreme with many climbs we had to go through.
In the middle of the trip we had to stop suddenly, because our motorbike was not strong enough to climb.
We took a short break to cool down our motorcycle engine.
In my day's mind, did I make it today to reach the top?
Hopefully nothing happens with us today.
I started walking some about 1 km, this trip I think is a bit challenging, but I still believe I can get there.
My friends started to start the motor engine to get back up.
And I kept following from behind.

It was 11:00 am we were still in the middle of the mountains, my friends and I stopped for a while because I saw there was a very special moment here, at the end my friends stopped and I asked my friends to take pictures of some of the natural scenery here.
After finishing we continued our journey, suddenly in the middle of the concrete rabak climb I saw a woman who was stirring fertilizer to sprinkle on their plants.
And I greeted him, all of whom I asked about the center of the existence of Mount Geurudong ** is still far away or not.
and thank God these ladies told us that if you have to go there you have to be very careful, because up there are still many very challenging roads with very small paths.

STRAY SLIGHTLY
My journey with my friends stopped for a while, because there was a little problem going on here, where we lost the path to get to the top, my friends started to panic and they started to open their phones to look for maps on the map, the end of our path could be found.
When my friend started opening his phone, what happened, we couldn't find Sintal to find directions for our location.
Confused about how to find a solution.
We decided to find our own path, whatever the risk we all share.
This is our commitment before going on a trip.
We continued to look for a signal to get a network, although it was still noon but to continue the journey we had to travel a few more km.

THE PEAK IS STARTING TO APPEAR
When we started looking at some mountains around us, I started to feel calm, because soon we would find our main destination.
I photographed some of the natural landscapes that were around me crossing.
And we kept climbing, it was almost there, and we were ready to have fun on the mountain.
It's been a journey full of obstacles and there are some things that make us disagree.
the important thing is that our goal is one, to the top of the mountain geurudong
Indeed, disagreements often occur if we have a team.
There must be things that differ in opinion among fellow friends.
The important thing is that we continue to look for the best solution.

MOMENT WHEN ON TOP

Around 11:30 pm, my friends and I arrived at the top of Mount Geurudong, and this is what I was waiting for finally I could feel how beautiful our nature is.
The things that happened while we were on the way just disappeared, after my friends and I got there, the weather above was cold even though we got there still during the day, but we didn't feel the heat.
wow... It is true what my friends have told me before, that the beauty of the mountains in Geurudong is amazing.
I could see from a distance some urban areas visible from above.
it's really amazing, and I also don't forget to take some of these moments for my travel-loving friends, and you can see for yourself this is the atmosphere when I was at the top of this mountain.
And I also had time to take some pictures of my friends while taking photos as well.
After a few minutes I got there, we rested for a while in a hut in the middle of the forest.
Like this hut there is still an owner.but I don't see any owner around this.

This was my trip yesterday over the summit of Geurudong Mountain, and it was the most amazing moment after I made several trips.
