Introducing the spectacular and ancient site of the Greek ship on Kish Island

Hello dear friends, sending you all warm vibes ☀️
I wanted to share a little piece of one of the most iconic and nostalgic places in Iran… the Greek Ship — an old, lonely giant that has stood still for decades on the western coast of Kish Island, gazing silently at the horizon.

This massive cargo ship ran aground in 1966 under mysterious circumstances, and for reasons still unknown, it was never rescued. It simply stayed… growing old, rusting with time, yet becoming more legendary with every passing year.

Standing next to it, especially at sunset, you feel like you’re part of a silent story. A tale full of wonder, maybe even love. When the golden light of the sun melts behind its broken frame, it feels like the ship is speaking — not in words, but straight to your heart.

The Greek Ship is more than just metal and rust. It’s a living memory of the island, a timeless scene that everyone who visits wants to take a piece of with them.

The Greek Ship is the heart of the Kish Island. It looks stunning especially when the sun goes down. Thanks for sharing.
