Lanckorona en Polonia [ESP/ENG]

Hola a todos! Y como les contaba en el post de ayer, ese día primero fuímos al pueblo de Lanckorona ubicado en Polonia, y nos tomó 1 hora con 45 minutos en carro en llegar hasta allí desde Sosnowiec, según internet es el pueblo más encantador de Polonia pero la verdad es que aunque este lugar nos gustó a mi esposo y a mí, sinceramente Wadowice fue más encantador para nosotros, porque creo que le faltan más restaurantes y lugares donde comerse un buen postre, pero de todas formas disfrutamos nuestro tiempo allí.

Hello everyone! And as I was telling you in yesterday's post, that day we first went to the village of Lanckorona located in Poland, and it took us 1 hour and 45 minutes by car to get there from Sosnowiec, according to the internet it is the most charming village in Poland but the truth is that although my husband and I liked this place, honestly Wadowice was more charming for us, because I think it lacks more restaurants and places to eat a good dessert, but anyway we enjoyed our time there.

Ahora bien, Lanckorona es conocida como la ciudad de los angeles, y segun leí en internet, el nombre viene del aléman y significa corona del país aunque tambien dicen que viene de una familia de alemanes. Nosotros disfrutamos mucho los pocos minutos que estuvimos allí. Recuerdo que este día hacía buen clima, y aunque había parqueadero, este es muy pequeño por lo que tuvimos que parquear en otro lugar pero estuvo bien porque no era muy lejos. Luego de parquear, empezamos a recorrer el lugar, donde primero vimos una galería que al entrar sonaban mis pasos por el piso de madera pero tenían muchas cosas hermosas allí y un espejo donde logré hacerme una foto y tenía mucho tiempo sin hacerme una foto así.

Now, Lanckorona is known as the city of angels, and according to what I read on the internet, the name comes from German and means crown of the country although they also say that it comes from a family of Germans. We really enjoyed the few minutes we were there. I remember that this day the weather was nice, and although there was a parking lot, it was very small so we had to park somewhere else but it was fine because it was not very far. After parking, we started to walk around the place, where we first saw a gallery that when we entered my steps sounded because of the wooden floor but they had many beautiful things there and a mirror where I managed to take a picture and I had a long time without taking a picture like that.

En Lanckorona les cuento que venden mucha cerámica hermosa, también vimos una heladería, un restaurante de hamburguesas al volver, también vimos una panadería y un café, mi esposo y yo como ya teníamos hambre decidimos visitar la panadería y comprar un Zapiekanka, que por cierto olvidé hacerle foto y aunque estaba frío la verdad es que por 10 eslotis (menos de 3 dólares) estaba bastante bien.

In Lanckorona I tell you that they sell a lot of beautiful ceramics, we also saw an ice cream shop, a hamburger restaurant on the way back, we also saw a bakery and a cafe, my husband and I as we were already hungry we decided to visit the bakery and buy a Zapiekanka, which by the way I forgot to take a picture and although it was cold the truth is that for 10 eslotis (less than 3 dollars) it was pretty good.

Luego de comprar el Zapienkanka, fuimos a comerlo en la famosa plaza del mercado que por cierto es muy hermosa, y vimos muchas casas de madera, también encuentras muchas cosas en venta como souvenirs, angeles, bisuteria, cerámicas espectaculares (por supuesto) y también vimos a una mujer que vendía encurtidos. Mucha gente estaba allí relajandose, nosotros también nos sentamos un rato allí a comer el Zapiekanka, luego fuimos a caminar más, y por cierto les cuento que algunas calles son empedradas por lo que era difícil ir por allí con el cochecito de Olivia.

After buying the Zapienkanka, we went to eat it in the famous market square which by the way is very beautiful, and we saw many wooden houses, you also find many things for sale like souvenirs, angels, jewelry, spectacular ceramics (of course) and we also saw a woman selling pickles. A lot of people were there relaxing, we also sat there for a while to eat the Zapiekanka, then we went to walk more, and by the way I tell you that some streets are cobblestone so it was difficult to go around with Olivia's stroller.

Queríamos ver más del lugar, así que luego de comer fuimos a las ruinas del castillo de Lanckorona pero les cuento que eran calles empinadas y con Olivia y su cochecito la verdad es que era bastante difícil para mi esposo y para mí por lo que decidimos no subir, aunque lo intentamos pero vimos a un niño un poco más grande que Olivia muy cansado quejandose así que decidimos volver y fuimos a ver la hermosa Iglesia de Lanckorona o la Iglesia de la Natividad de San Juan Bautista, que aunque estaba abierta estaba muy oscura aún así la cámara de mi celular logró capturar muchas cosas hermosas, luego volvimos a la plaza donde en una esquina vimos el Museo Regional y aunque no entramos por fuera parecía muy interesante.

We wanted to see more of the place, so after lunch we went to the ruins of Lanckorona castle but I tell you they were steep streets and with Olivia and her stroller the truth is that it was quite difficult for my husband and I so we decided not to go up, although we tried but we saw a child a little older than Olivia very tired complaining so we decided to go back and went to see the beautiful Church of Lanckorona or the Church of the Nativity of St. John the Baptist, which although it was open was very dark even so the camera of my cell phone managed to capture many beautiful things, then we returned to the square where in a corner we saw the Regional Museum and although we did not enter from the outside it looked very interesting.

Luego decidimos ir a Wadowice (que se los mostré en el post de ayer) pero sin duda aunque para nosotros Lanckorona no es el pueblo más encantador de Polonia, la verdad es que disfrutamos caminando por allí viendo cosas interesantes, y al igual que Wadowice se los recomiendo que conozcan si estan en Polonia, pues tal vez para ustedes sea mas encantador que para nosotros.

Then we decided to go to Wadowice (which I showed you in yesterday's post) but certainly although for us Lanckorona is not the most charming town in Poland, the truth is that we enjoyed walking around there seeing interesting things, and like Wadowice I recommend you to visit it if you are in Poland, because maybe for you it is more charming than for us.
