A Refuge Between Mountains and Waters: My Adventure at Las Terrazas
Hello, Ecency community! Today I can't help but share with you the place that has completely left me in awe: Las Terrazas.
It all started when I arrived at this beautiful two-story building with its imposing white columns. Surrounded by meticulously manicured gardens, stone paths, and lush vegetation, I felt like I had crossed the threshold into another world. The intense green of the grass and the chirping of the birds are the perfect welcome to disconnect from the stress of the city.
The sound of the water called out to me immediately, and it did not disappoint. Heading down a bit, I found a river with small waterfalls forming natural pools of crystal-clear water. Seeing people bathing, laughing, and enjoying the coolness of the water reminded me how simple happiness can be. I took a moment to sit on the shore and simply contemplate how nature and visitors coexisted in perfect harmony.
A little further on, the landscape changed to gift me one of the most beautiful views: a lake of emerald-green water, surrounded by a dense forest that seems to embrace everything. In the middle of the lake, a wooden pier extends out for the bravest to lie down and sunbathe. The feeling of peace as I watched the swimmers resting on the wood was indescribable; time seemed to have stopped.
To wrap up the day, I found the perfect place to recharge my energy: a rest area with wooden tables and thatched palapas strategically located facing the lake. It's ideal for having lunch, grabbing a cold drink, and sitting down to admire the mountains in the background.
Las Terrazas is not just a tourist destination; it is a state of mind. It is the perfect place to breathe fresh air, feel the breeze, and remember that nature will always be our best refuge. I highly recommend this destination to anyone looking for peace, adventure, and a true connection with the environment.
I hope you enjoy the photos as much as I enjoyed every corner!
