Climbing Mount Snowdon the Easy Way!

On our recent trip to Wales, UK we decided to take the Snowdon Mountain train that leaves Llanberis Station and goes right to the summit of Mount Snowdon in Wales. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales. It is very popular tourist attraction so it is best to book in advance.

Once at the Halfway Station there’s a brief stop for the steam engine to refill its water tanks.

The journey to the top takes approximately an hour to complete. Unfortunately, you cannot get a refund if the train doesn’t go to the top if it is bad weather unless the train is cancelled.

There are a few sheep up here as well. It's not surprising as Wales has more sheep than people.

Thankfully, the weather was quite pleasant and we saw stunning views along the journey. There is a little bit of commentary pointing out interesting facts or you can download a free app to follow your journey to the top.

At the very end, you can get out and climb to the summit. We only had about 30 minutes to enjoy the views. The ticket price was quite expensive at £45 but the only other option was to walk and I wasn't going to do that!

The only thing I regret from living in the UK for 9 years is not visiting Snowdonia and the mountains. I want to like this trip, but I missed visiting Snowdon Mountains.
It looks stunning. I love the views and you were very lucky with the weather. That train looks very fun and definitely helps to make the journey to the summit easier.

The pictures you have provided are so beautiful and the scenes are so captivating. If only I could go there face to face, I would consider my life blessed. Just looking at the pictures makes me want to rush there. Thank you for sharing the beautiful pictures.
