A green visit: the Ayora Garden in Valencia

Hello Pinmapple friends!

There are days when we are looking for a bit of tranquility, or to be in a different place that we like. Because many of us find ourselves immersed in the rhythm and noise of the city, we go from here to there on asphalt, even when we visit other places, until the need to find an oasis in the urban environment arises.

And the oasis does not have to be kilometers away, we can find a green corner where we can breathe deeply a little cleaner oxygen in some spaces of the city itself. You just have to find them.

So those who live in that urban environment can leave it for an instant as if by magic thanks to the public gardens and parks. Surely in many of your cities or in others that you have visited you will have seen some and even spent some happy and pleasant moment.

And among those that I know more about and perhaps have been able to visit more, I have a favorite, such as the 100% recommended Monforte Gardens and which I already told you about in another post. Also another large urban natural area located in the place where the river used to pass (An urban park in an old river), now diverted outside the city.

But there is another park in the same city without so many pretensions, nor so much popularity but equally charming that many will not visit on their way through the city, but I could say that it is also among the ones I like the most. It's just adorable.

The Ayora Garden (Valencia, Spain)

We are going to visit the Ayora Garden, located in the neighborhood or district of the same name in the city of Valencia, in Spain. And I hope you like it.

Upon entering, because during the day they open but close at night, we come across a beautiful building almost in a classic style that seems to fit perfectly with said space, it seems that we are suddenly entering another era as well, it is also framed between tall palm trees and other trees such as giant ficuses that are many years old and of great value.

But everything green around us has value, only here the plants, trees and flowers seem to become a natural museum because of their special artistic position in some way. Thus we enjoy different varieties, colors, silhouettes and even textures, combined in the most harmonious way possible. It is a green and alive visit.

And there is more, because we also find nice man-made elements that do not distort our view of the space but rather complement it perfectly, such as a kind of tiled bench, very local in style, very handcrafted and Mediterranean. Right there we can sit for a moment to contemplate everything, we can close our eyes and only hear the birds, some small children playing.

Because there is life too, of those who walk, those who sit in another area with other benches and games for children, but we follow the natural path to enter almost a kind of jungle, not wild, because once again we come across the elegance of art, a beautiful statue, one of those that make parks more regal, more impressive.

Because what is impressive is that the height of the trees increases and the number of plants that are variegated in spaces brimming with leaves of different sizes and shapes.

And something blocks our way, but there is always another way... a large trunk fallen there for many years that has become a natural sculpture that rivals the statue we had just seen. A marvel that does not seem accidental or a disaster but as if it had been something premeditated, as if it needed to stand out and attract attention. And the attention has gotten it.

Until we arrive by another of the paths, there is a more colorful area, because there is not only green, but also more color, and while we continue listening to the birds at the top of the leafy treetops, we approach to contemplate those beautiful flowers that I like them so much: delicate blues "plumbago auriculata", powerful "canna indicas" or the always glamorous pink roses among others. There is a lot where to choose and where to watch... (I found the official botanical names thanks to the app PlantNet).

We can go around more, sit somewhere, or stay there motionless enjoying the sun's rays in that green bubble of peace, silence and nature, curiously without leaving the big city. Although in some moment we will have to go out back to the urban reality again until the next trip or a new green visit.

Thanks for reading! Have a pleasant and green day!
