A look at the Venezuelan plains at Barrancas, Barinas

One of the many geographical qualities that Venezuela has are its plains, this extends for thousands and thousands of kilometers in the south of the country and is a place where dozens of agricultural activities are developed. No matter what season we are in, the strong sun will always be there to remind us to wear a big hat if we do not want to see our skin affected by the inclement solar climate, but what does benefit are our lungs as fresh and uncontaminated air abounds in these spaces.
The photos you will see below are from the outskirts of the town of Barrancas, in the state of Barinas, Venezuela, there live some relatives of my husband which had many years without visiting, it is a place where he spent several months of his childhood and of which he keeps many beautiful memories, and well, this time I came to accompany him on this nostalgic visit.

The current season is summer, in the photos you could see that most of the grass is dry, but there is enough left for the cows to feed without problems. The land is a little dry and that makes walking quite dusty, but that did not prevent me from taking a long walk along the path that is clearly marked.
Here livestock activities are developed for the production of milk and beef, there are dozens of hectares where you can see cows feeding. Although there are large trees, these have some separation which prevents the generation of wide shadows, so as I said before, it is important to have a good hat to protect us from the sun.

In the distance from a cliff, you can appreciate the Quebrada Grande, a small river that, according to the current season, is quite dry, just a small stream flows, but, when it is winter the flow grows notoriously, in fact, you can see that the space through which the river flows when it is grown is quite wide.

So you were able to appreciate images of the Venezuelan plains, a place where livestock is the main economic activity and where people live with much more tranquility than in the city and it shows in the attitude of the people, they are friendly, warm and helpful. I had a pleasant impression of this region which has a lot to offer in terms of tourism. It was a pleasure to share with the community, greetings!

Yes, it was a nice walk. Thank you very much for your kind support. 💙💫
The trip was a great experience. The region is incredibly beautiful, although there were some difficulties. These small difficulties do not matter much in terms of travel. The beauty of nature gives us everything and helps us to spend a long time. There are many cows in the region and in summer all the grass on the land is dry. Although there was enough snow and there was no difficulty in eating their food. Along with the trip to the region, you have highlighted many things which are great to see. Best wishes
That's right, you have to look at the positive side of everything! It was a long trip but it left me with a great experience, being in contact with nature is unique! Thank you for your kind support.
Thank you. Nice response.
¡Hola @dinaaczib!

¡Abrazos!
