Paseo De Santiago In Iligan City

Iligan City is one of the progressive place here in Mindanao. Lots of establishments, commercial buildings, Houses, Schools and restaurants. In terms of Tourist spot destinations, this place contains lots of it and one of the best tourist spot we can visited is the Paseo de Santiago located in Barangay Santiago Iligan City. This place is newly developed into tourist spots and their are lots of visitors who came to visit came from far places like Cagayan de Oro, Ozamis and Neighboring Municipalities and Cities. Pasea de Santiago is located near at the City and it is facing to the Panguil Bay or Iligan Bay. This is near at the coastal areas so it will expected to see wide and blue sea water.

It is near at the Eateries and Restaurants that is why those who visited the place can spend can spend a day here without bringing their foods and they only brought at the eateries or eat in the restaurants. From the City, it needs to travel a few minutes or hours depends on how traffic the road is. Different kinds of vehicles like private vehicles, trucks and cars can be accessible here.

The is the lawn inside of the great Castle-like structures. At the center of the hall is this great and big water fountain and each corner of the place contains lots of ornamental plants like bougonvilla flowers planted on those big flowering pots. The water fountain here always in operational and blows lots of water, the floors and walls are made of bricks designed with curving structures particularly at the walls and windows of the structures. There are also lots of metal benches installed at the place so the visitors can takes a rest inside of the place.

Aside of that, there are lots of plastic chairs, tables and big umbrellas that served as a resting areas and eating areas for those people who brought snacks and Lunch for their travel. The place is surrounded with big trees and wild plants and it keeps the place cool and relaxing. This wooden tables coated with black paints helps the structure cannot easily broke. The ground are filled with solid bricks and it helps to all visitors avoiding of being muddy and dusty. Most of the trees can be seen here are Molave trees, acacia and talisay trees. There few coconut trees grows in the place and some of it are dwarft coconut trees and the place is properly organized and clean.

If you want some simple driving adventure, they also have golf cars heres and everybody can ride on it. We can drive inside of the areas and make a tours of the entire place by riding golf cars.

At the coastal areas, this fascinating Philippines Map decorated to the ground is very attractive and unique. Visitors can take a pictures here particularly on those big letters installed near at the Coast. Solar lights installed at the place so that it helps shining the entire areas during evening. This areas is facing to the Panguil bay and it contains a relaxing overviewd to the sea.

Colorful lights also installed to the place particularly to the tents. This concrete pathways and bricks helps the place to become more attractive. Lots of peebles and stones are filled to the ground so it can avoided mud and dusty situations. Ornamental plants are planted to the landscapes that served as a decorations of the entire areas. Each side of the concrete pathways are those attractive ornamental plants and some solar lights.

Some statues just like this also decorated at the place. The human statue is one of our National Hero named Lapu-lapu. The next statue is the Kalesa which means a cart pulled by a horse. This represents the city as one of the place on which there are lots of kalesa running to the City. It is built near at the sea and visitors can take lots of pictures here.
