Secret Dance of Orange Roofs and Emerald Hills: Orahovac - Legendary Nuts village ⛰️🌳🥜

Early in the morning, Orahovac woke up with the sun, which with its golden light revealed everything to its smallest secret, a village rich in history and orange roofs dancing in all possible green contrasts under the blue sky and above the blue sea. I woke up to a breathtaking view from my window and a wave of fresh air.

Going out to my spacious balcony with gorgeous views of the sea from the other side of the house, I cheered myself up with coffee, and began to actively explore the atmosphere of every corner of the city, which here breathes the power of juiciness, with the watchful eye of my beloved drone friend Zelya.

We were also living in the heart of this beautiful picturesque village in a cute three-story house with an orange roof as well. The orange rooftops lit up by the morning light took on an even warmer hue, a visual tribute to the traditions and culture that imbued every corner.

Zelya's photographs taken during the day added an inherent charm, turning our trip into a fascinating historical journey through this pearl of the Montenegrin coast. But the magic of Orahovac goes beyond the historical buildings and orange roofs.

The surrounding hills stand like majestic guardians, painted in shades of emerald green, which create a vivid contrast with the blue sky and turquoise sea at the foot of the village. Every slope, every stone, every curve of the mountain adds a unique touch to this natural postcard framing the city.

Orahovac, a village that appears like a green pearl on the mountain slopes, is a portrait of tranquility and ancient beauty. In the summer silence, the village blooms with a fresh mountain aroma, enveloping the air in a carefree and peaceful atmosphere.

As the drone hovered in the sky above Orahovac, I could capture the majesty of the surrounding hills, a landscape that seemed to be painted with strokes of dark green. Every detail, from the lush greenery to the towering boulders, helped create a scene that captured the soul of the village.

The history of the village of Orahovac goes back to ancient times, with legends that have become part of the fabric of its existence. And here is one of the legends that has been whispered from house to house for centuries, namely about an ancient guardian spirit, a ghostly figure that watches over the orange tiled roofs and emerald hills.

Residents speak of a mystical connection between the guardian and the abundant orchards that dot the landscape. Once upon a time, a mysterious traveler arrived. This pilgrim possessed an aura of wisdom and carried with him a bag full of seeds.

Fascinated by the peaceful beauty of Orahovac, the traveler planted seeds, and from them grew the first lush grove of fragrant walnuts. It is said that the guardian spirit came from the heart of the oldest walnut tree.

Thanks to its benevolent presence, the spirit decided to watch over the village, becoming a silent protector of its prosperity.

Residents believe that the health of the gardens directly reflects the mood of the spirit, and in times of abundance the guardian is said to dance among the swaying branches in the moonlight.

Local folklore says that those who honor the guardian, respect the land and live in harmony with nature, are rewarded with good fortune.

However, cautionary tales advise against disrespecting the gardens or taking more than you need, as this can cause silent disdain for the spirit.

The green of the slopes is tinged with history, and the sea caressing the foundations of the village seems to bring with it stories of ancient adventures.

Orahovac, with its combination of mountain majesty and sea breeze, is a visual symphony that enchants anyone who ventures to explore it.

Although I was not able to catch the sunset on the lens of the drone, I took several pictures already from the ground and it did not affect the charm of Orahovac.

I was walking on the beach that evening and enjoying the unique contrasts of the mountain colors and the sea, and I took one very unique picture, I am in love with it.
