A Trip to the (Petting) Zoo! ๐๐
Yesterday, my family and I were privileged to be treated to a day out with my Dad ๐ Our girls don't get to see their Papa very often, so not only was it great to spend some time with him, but to also see such a wide variety of animals! I would like to share some of our photos from the petting zoo ๐
(Our girls before we departed. They do not get to ride in a car very often either, so they had a great time watching out the windows)
(Arriving at Triple C Farms! The first thing you will notice is that they have a TON of goats! ๐ตโ๐ซ Yes, there was not a shortage of goats -- two for every person! ๐)
(Many of the goats were enjoying the beautiful sunshine ๐ They look so silly with their pleasant smiles...)
(Just a girl and her grandpa โค๏ธ Our oldest daughter loves spending time with her Papa)
(There was one single rooster that was doing his cock-a-doodle-doo call, and I was fortunate enough to have captured a photo of him in the middle of it! ๐)
(This is one of my favorite photos of the day. I have fondly titled it Three Billy Goats Gruff)
(There was a HUGE tortoise! ๐ข Apparently this farm primarily works as a rescue for animals, so somebody may have found this guy out on the street!)
(There was also a giant emu! I couldn't get a great shot of her; she was behind two enclosures. I have always found them to be extremely silly birds!)
(There were a few sheep present. Our youngest daughter used to be obsessed with sheep. She was very happy to see them ๐)
(AND a couple of piggies! ๐ท I love the squeal of a pig~ Unfortunately, they all seemed a bit skittish, so we didn't try to pet them...)
(This goat was my absolute favorite ๐ He is the epitome of the wise old goat -- long beard and a tranquil expression)
(Our youngest daughter with some miniature cows! ๐ฎ This was actually my first time seeing miniature cows in person. Despite their tiny stature, they still produce milk for us!)
(The family checking out one of the llamas. Now, if you are familiar with llamas, then you know about their infamous spitting technique ๐ซ Thankfully, this one was very calm, and she let everyone pet her)
(I was IN LOVE with this snaggletoothed llama! ๐ฅบ๐ญ Oh my gosh, his silly little bucktooth... He was too cute)
(You may not see very well; this was a chicken, laying next to the fence with her duck friend โค๏ธ)
(Another cute photo, this time of a goose and a duck cuddling together...)
(Baby duck!! ๐ญโค๏ธ Absolutely precious... His family was relaxing by a pond beyond the fence, and this lone adventurer crossed over to check us out! ๐)
(There were quite a few horses out. Some of them were leaned up against the fence so visitors would pet them ๐ Our youngest daughter enjoyed hanging out with this brown beauty)
(There were also a bunch of geese chilling with the horses. I found it so funny -- they all traveled in groups of three ๐ They were like the Three Musketeers! ๐)

Nice looking petting zoo with so many animals. I did not expect to see a tortise when I saw a "petting zoo" post ๐๐ข
Impressive catching a photo of the rooster in the middle of his cock-a-doodle-doo call!
I was not expecting it either, I was completely taken aback! ๐ฎ She looked like she was really enjoying a day in the sun!
