Hello friends travelers around the world, I hope you have an excellent and blessed day with your loved ones, it is a pleasure to share a new tour of Caicara del Orinoco, capital of the Cedeño municipality (Bolívar state) I previously told you about my trip to this beautiful city in the company of my son, our visit had one of the objectives of eating arepas from Coroba and visiting Puerto Chalana, the trip was a bit long, but it is worth it to get to know the different places and tourist attractions of this beautiful city in which you can see the majestic Orinoco River, on this occasion I will talk to you about my visit to General Manuel Cedeño Plaza, located on Carabobo Boulevard (Carabobo Avenue), in the heart of the city, where it converges with commercial activities, Carabobo Boulevard is a wide avenue where the economic activity of the population takes place to a large extent; sale of groceries, cosmetics, bakery, restaurants, pharmacy, financial entities, hairdressers, financial entities, clothing and footwear, hotels, among others, where they can supply you with products for personal use and food, to make your stay a great experience.
Carabobo Boulevard is an important meeting point and reference in the city. For many years, this area has been characterized by its constant commercial exchange and concentration of the population. Last year, the square that pays tribute to the hero Manuel Cedeño and which in turn gives its name to the municipality was inaugurated in the spaces of the boulevard. This hero participated in important battles during the process of emancipation of Venezuela and died in one of the decisive battles; the battle of Carabobo (June 24, 1821), in honor of this outstanding hero this square was inaugurated in the city, the work was carried out by maestro Audilio, a well-known artist of the municipality who has developed among his works the diamond sculpture located at the entrance of the city, a sculpture of the soldier and to his creative works is now added the sculpture of the hero Manuel Cedeño.
Hola amigos viajeros en todo el mundo, deseo que tengan un excelente y bendecido día en unión de sus seres queridos, es un placer compartir un nuevo recorrido por Caicara del Orinoco, capital del municipio Cedeño (estado Bolívar) anteriormente les comenté sobre mi viaje a esta hermosa ciudad en compañía de mi hijo, nuestra visita tenía entre uno de los objetivos comer arepas de Coroba y visitar puerto chalana, el viaje fue un tanto largo, pero vale la pena para conocer los diferentes lugares y atractrivos turísticos de esta hermosa ciudad en la cual puedes ver el majestuoso río Orinoco, en esta ocasión les hablaré sobre mi visita a la plaza General Manuel Cedeño, ubicada en el bulevard Carabobo (avenida Carabobo), en pleno centro de la ciudad, donde converge con las actividades comerciales, el bulevar Carabobo es una amplia Avenida donde se desarrolla en gran parte la actividad económica de la población; venta de víveres, cosméticos, panadería, restaurantes, farmacia, entidades financieras, peluquería, entidades financieras, ropa y calzado, hoteles, entre otros, donde te puede abastecer de los productos de uso personal y alimentación, para hacer de tu estadia una gran experiencia.
El bulevar Carabobo, es un importante punto de encuentro y referencia en la ciudad, desde hace muchos años, esta zona se ha caracterizado por su constante intercambio comercial y concentración de la población, el año pasado se inauguró en losespacios del bulevar, la plaza que rinde homenaje al prócer Manuel Cedeño y que a su vez da nombre al municipio, este prócer participó en importantes batallas durante el proceso de emancipación de Venezuela y fallece en una de las batallas decisivas; la batalla de Carabobo (24 de junio de 1821), en honor a este destacado prócer se inauguró esta plaza en la ciudad, la obra estuvo a cargo del maestro Audilio, un conocido artista del municipio que ha desarrollado entre sus obras la escultura del diamante ubicada en la entrada de la ciudad, escultura del soldado y a sus trabajos creativos se suma ahora la escultura del prócer Manuel Cedeño.
The Manuel Cedeño square has ample spaces for family fun and recreation in it are several gardens, which are delimited with small concrete blocks in a circular shape, on the floor you can see figures alluding to the cultural legacy of the indigenous groups that inhabited the region, a very striking aspect in this square and that I liked a lot, are the decorations of the lamp posts, these have in each of their faces a very different figure, according to the information of a resident, these figures represent the artistic works made by the natives, their gods, food and the writing or symbols to communicate, also the different crafts that they made; it also has concrete benches, these as well as the towers of the lamps have some curious designs that look like the form of an animal in the front part you can see the head and in the back the tail.
In the center of the square are also the flags of the State of Bolivar of the Cedeño municipality and Venezuela, the flag of the Cedeño municipality, stands out for its curious figures and symbols related to the indigenous tribes, the flag is yellow, in the center has a circle which is formed by several figures used by the aborigines, My visit to this important meeting point in the city, was at Christmas time and it was decorated with beautiful lights, a Christmas tree, a tunnel and at the entrance of the boulevard the word Caicara, at night the colorful lights give a very different style to the square.
La plaza Manuel Cedeño, cuenta con amplios espacios para la diversión y esparcimiento familiar en ella se encuentran varios jardines, los cuales están delimitados con pequeños bloques de concreto en forma circular, en el piso se pueden observar figuras alusivas al legado cultural de los grupos indígenas que habitaron la región, un aspecto muy llamativo en esta plaza y que me gustó mucho, son las decoraciones de los postes de las lámparas, estos tienen en cada una de sus caras una figura muy diferente, de acuerdo a la información de un residente, estas figuras representan las obras artísticas realizadas por los indígenas, sus dioses, alimentación y la escritura o símbolos para comunicarse, también las diferentes artesanías que ellos realizaban; cuenta también con bancos de concreto, estos al igual que las torres de las lámparas tienen unos curiosos diseños parece la forma de un animal en la parte delantera se puede ver la cabeza y en el posterior la cola.
En el centro de la plaza se encuentran también las banderas del Estado Bolívar del municipio Cedeño y Venezuela, la bandera del municipio Cedeño, destaca por sus curiosas figuras y símbolos relacionados con las tribus indígenas, la bandera es de color amarillo, en el centro tiene un círculo el cual está formado por varias figuras usadas por los aborígenes, mi visita a este importante punto de encuentro en la ciudad, fue en la época de Navidad y estaba decorado con hermosas luces, un árbol navideño, un túnel y en la entrada del bulevar la palabra Caicara, en la noche las coloridas luces le dan un estilo muy diferente a la plaza.
Very close to the square is the city hospital (Arnoldo Gabaldón), in front of this hospital continues the boulevard and in it there are also benches, a tree and a wooden sculpture representing the art of the indigenous people, the Manuel Cedeño square, in addition to paying tribute to this hero highlights the cultural and creative aspects of indigenous cultures making known its symbolism, sculptures and emblematic figures in the boulevard located in front of the hospital there are some striking figures on the side edges of the bank, they look like two human figures lying down and in the middle of them four heads, as in the first part of the boulevard the banks also have an animal figure and in this space there are also gardens, lights in the trees, a traffic circle where you can take beautiful pictures and wide walkways to move around.
Muy cerca de la plaza se encuentra el hospital de la ciudad (Arnoldo Gabaldón), al frente de este hospital continúa el bulevar y en él se observan también bancos, un arbolito y un una escultura de madera que representa el arte de los indígenas, la plaza Manuel Cedeño, además de rendir homenaje a este prócer destaca los aspectos culturales y creativos de las culturas indígenas dando a conocer su simbolismo, esculturas y figuras emblemáticas en el bulevar ubicado frente al hospital se observan unas llamativas figuras en los bordes laterales del banco, parecen dos figuras humanas acostadas y en el medio de ellas cuatro cabezas, al igual que en la primera parte del bulevar los bancos también tienen una figura de animal y en este espacio también hay jardines, luces en la en los árboles, una redoma donde te puedes hacer hermosas fotografías y amplias caminarías para movilizarte.

This area of the city, as I mentioned earlier is quite busy in day and night hours, during the day the exchange of commercial activities, and at night you have the opportunity to taste delicious hot dogs, hamburgers, pizzas, among others, in the evening in the company of a friend and my son we visited this beautiful boulevard and after making a tour and take pictures we enjoyed some delicious hot dogs, I had many years without seeing my friend and it was very nice to share and chat for a while. Visiting the square that pays tribute to the hero Manuel Cedeño, was a fun walk, because in addition to providing a space for the enjoyment of the family, it enhances the culture of the municipality and gives us to know the value of this hero in the process of emancipation of Venezuela.
La escultura descansa en una base octagonal, encima de esta hay una figura con forma de diamante seguidamente un rectángulo donde reposa la estatua del prócer, él se encuentra de pie y con la espada en la mano derecha, en la parte frontal de la base rectangular se lee el nombre Manuel Sedeño y el año de partida, la estatua es de color gris oscuro y combina en la base los colores gris claro y rojo.
Esta zona de la ciudad, como lo mencioné anteriormente es bastante concurrida en horas diurnas y nocturnas, en el día el intercambio de actividades comerciales, y en horas nocturnas tienes la oportunidad de degustar deliciosos perros calientes, hamburguesas, pizzas, entre otros, en horas de la noche en compañía de una amiga y mi hijo visitamos este hermoso bulevar y luego de hacer un recorrido y tomarnos fotografías gustamos unos deliciosos perros calientes, tenía muchos años sin ver a mi amiga y fue muy lindo compartir y charlar un rato. Conocer la plaza que rinde homenaje al prócer Manuel Cedeño, fue un divertido paseo, pues además de brindar un espacio para el disfrute de la familia, realza la cultura del municipio y nos da a conocer el valor de este héroe en el proceso de emancipación de Venezuela.

Me gusta la arquitectura de la plaza. Es llamativa. Sobre todo por el monumento. Aunque es tipico de las plazas en venezuela no tener espacios para cubrirse del sol.
