Barzoo Dam; the blue gem of the north of Shirvan city

Hello to all tourists
Hello to @worldmappin.
I hope you are doing well. Today I want to continue writing about the tourist attractions of Shirvan for you.
I myself am very excited when I go to these pristine areas.

When I was in the city of Shirvan, I heard about one of its attractions called Barzoo Dam, which they said was a beautiful place. To get there, I had to go from the village of "Zavaram." The path itself was half the beauty of this trip. The winding road, the mountains, and the plains that changed color every moment. There were still a few kilometers left when I could see the dam and its blue lake from afar, like a gem in the middle of nature. I stopped right there and took a few photos from a distance. When I got close to it, I was mesmerized by the clear water and the towering mountains around it.

Let's go see some photos from the beginning.

The path after the village was through the mountains and their beauty.

If you have paid attention to the picture above, on the right side of the picture, a concrete wall of the dam can be seen, which was a bit difficult to access, and for this reason, we reached the edge of the dam water through another route.

After I walked a bit along the mountain path and gained some altitude, for a moment the water of the dam appeared before my eyes; it was as if a piece of sky had fallen in the middle of the earth. Its water was a deep blue, surrounded by green mountains and hills, and a cool breeze that caressed the face. From up there, it was an incredible scene. Truly seeing it from that angle changes a person's mood. And it completely washed away the fatigue of the journey.
Seeing this view, I was very eager to reach the water quickly. For this reason, with my friend who was with me, after having tea and herbal tea, we refreshed our throats and set off.

Last year in the winter season, I had come here, but the route to get here was different. The first time I came, due to the drought, the water level of the dam had decreased significantly, and the soil in some areas was fragmented and resembled a desert.
I will share the photos I took during the drought with you.

Seeing these cracked lands made me a bit sad because of the drought and lack of rain, but I still thanked God for this beautiful attraction. We sat for hours with my friend. Gradually, the sun was setting.
I also took a photo of the threshold of sunset and we returned from a closer path.

I really loved its light and its reflection in the water was amazing.
With all this experience, I have seen this dam twice, but each of the routes had its own beauty depending on the season.
I hope you also enjoyed seeing this beautiful dam.

The Barzoo Dam is located about 5 kilometers north of the city of Shirvan. It is one of the popular attractions of North Khorasan for nature lovers and photographers. Access to the dam is easily possible via the Shirvan–Zavarm road.
God willing, an opportunity will arise for you to visit this place.
Until another adventurous trip
Goodbye 😘💋😉

Wow, the landscape looks almost surreal. The cracked land is really cool to see, and I bet even more fun to walk on. I remember going to a dry lake bed in Morocco that had cracked ground like this, and it was pretty fun to walk around and hear the crunch of the ground below. Also, that tea looks delicious and refreshing, perfect for a little rest in nature. Thank you for sharing!
