Today, while I was sweeping the dry leaves at the back of the house, I thought of taking some pictures of my brother-in-law’s gamecocks, which were tied under a mango tree.
He takes care of them every day and only feeds them in the morning and afternoon. Whenever he has a day off, he conditions and trains them. Sometimes, he lets the two roosters compete. One is still fairly young and not yet very good at fighting, while the other is already older and has won several matches.
He also takes care of some hens. When they lay eggs and the chicks grow into roosters, he also raises them as gamecocks. He sells some of the older ones or, when they become too old, they are sometimes used as food.
