taking my weekend off with gratitude

Good evening/good morning all!

Today, I enjoyed some time off online in light of the fact that my week was excessively depleted and figured I would simply take everything simple and easy. I additionally wanted to do the same not until I saw a documentary online. So I altered my perspective. Yet, before that, I have an extremely laid back Sunday. It is kind of gloomy here earlier at the moment, and the weather changes its mind. The moon is pretty bright up there up above. My daughter was doing her homework while I was doing my own thing. It's almost midnight here now and thought of writing something regarding what I've watched.

I was watching a documentary about Tibet and other isolated communities. I wonder sometimes - Has technology actually been the downfall of happiness? Come here in the Philippines as an example. There are indigenous people who live tribal-ly (I am not sure if that is a word, but you know what I mean - the tribes). They hunt, have no electricity, living off the land, making their own clothes and so on. They are happy as can be. It seems that the further we advance, the more problems we have.

As they say, "What you don't know wont hurt you!". Technology has been a blessing at times just as it has been a curse. Sometimes, I long for a simpler life just like back in the good ole' days. Technology is driving the human race mad, I swear. I grew up in a rural town and now moved to the farmland-beach area where our family land is situated. Although I have lived my early years in rural areas, it would still be hard for me to convert to that life because I spent most of my adult life living in modern era.

Maybe I'd go to Australia, Africa, South America or rural China. You will find extremely rural people who have no concept of money. Lfe there seemed so simple. Just outdoors and nature .There are necessary advancements for health and aside from that? We are spoiled and want more and that is destroying the fiber of reality. I do think technology where it is good and helpful in some areas, overall it has made people lazy.

My random ramblings for today. Enjoy the rest of your weekend, beautiful people. Do what makes your soul happy.

You know, I used to have that mindset too that technology had torn individual apart. We have been ripped of the closeness that our parents had, all because.of technology.
Money is another thing. People now worship it and loving it than their fellows.

hmmm, thought-provoking, indeed! I guess I will just be thankful for the fact that we were able to enjoy both worlds - - back when everything was as simple as it could get (but we could have thought as so complicated back then) and now when everything is supposed to be made simple by technology (but still complicated).

Just because other don't have what we have, they are less fortunate or not as happy as we are. They are fine living on their own.

Yeah part of the disadvantages of technological advancement is the decreasing rate of children possessing respect.
