Inktober 2022: Day 11 - Eagle

Hi all!

Here is my new digital drawing which is my entry for inktober drawing challenge day 11. The theme for today is 'Eagle' so I made a sketch of an eagle with a fierce looking face.

The Eagle is believed to be the 'king of the sky'. It is a strong and fast creature with good eyesight that can locate prey from afar.

The drawing generated a light and shadow effect in a black and white rendition. Howevere, I added a yellowish color on its eyes. You could see it added a new feel to it - that could draw ones attention.

The piece was done with an AutoDesk sketchbook application and aided with an S-pen. My steps by step processes can be seen below:

As usual, I started with an outline sketch. With just some light lines, brought out its figure

The above was followed by building the background and adding few shadows

I continued adding the shadow and more sketches here but more focused on its sense organs

I finally completed other areas and shaded the eyes with a yellow color.
