Work wear and tear

In last period I like and I have tried a new passion: painting.

Sorry because of I haven't done any lessons or courses, so my technique is not so good.
Friends of mine has given to me some acrylic paints and brushes (specially to paint the vision I see during dreams, at night) and I try to express some images I had in the mind (with some basic tips from friends).

Title is 'Work wear and tear'.
Some months ago I was very frustrated doing some technical job I didn't like, so I made some sketches in pencil:

I thought about a black hole, a strange stellar object who attract matter, and also light, and it evaporates after a very long time. I have tried also to show how resources are getting lost doing something we don't like, or something we're not good at, so we cried bloody tears into the abyss (down side of the paint), but maybe something starts to bloom (upside), not all things are lost. Doing something we don't like, we appreciate more the things we really like. There is always a light into the deep dark.

It was a rainy autumnal weather, ideal to stay at home, eating roasted chestnuts in the fireplace.

As you see, Francesca was painting some boats in a rough sea.
Before that, she did an improvised work with some dry leaves, with some ants walking above them. I like this painting very much, typical autumnal styles and colors:
