Scarecrow - Drawlloween Day 29

Hi all!

Here is my new digital art. It's a sketch of a scarecrow in the dark which is my entry for drawlloween day 29.

Scarecrow is an act where farm onwers design a structure or figure with disposable materials in order to protect their plants from unwanted animals and birds that may ruin their harvest. They also do it to avoid people intruding into it to steal their crops.

Over here, people usually use red cloths and hang it on a standing stick. Since red signifies danger, people get scared of nearing such farm to avoid anything happening to them.

That's always their belief but no one could tell if they actually did something spiritual there so the best bet is abstain from such farm.

More so, constructing of this kind of scarecrow could scare birds from entering a farm cause they might think that's a human standing there. Hehe.

The reference I used depicts it during the day time but I converted it to night mode. I also added wo red eyes to it.

Imagine walking a lone at night and coming across this figure unaware before. Damn!
