Volviendo a caminar por Parque Costazul [Esp/Eng]

Hace unos días tuve una salida inesperada un domingo. Y eso ya es raro en mí, porque suelo quedarme en casa ese día descansando. Pero esta vez surgió algo y debía ir a buscar unas cositas. Así que le pedí a mi heraminta que me acompañara y le dije a mi papá que nos dejara en el Centro Comercial Parque CostAzul, uno de los centros comerciales más conocidos aquí en la isla.

A few days ago, I had an unexpected outing on a Sunday. That's unusual for me, because I usually stay home and rest on Sundays. But this time, something came up and I had to go pick up a few things. So I asked my sister to come with me and told my dad to drop us off at the Parque CostAzul Shopping Center, one of the most popular shopping centers here on the island.

Llegamos casi al atardecer, tipo 5:00 p.m., y aunque desde el estacionamiento este centro comercial siempre parece estar lleno (por la cantidad de carros), al entrar se puede notar que el ambiente es más tranquilo. Lo cual se debe a que muchas personas van por el gimnasio o las canchas de pádel que están dentro, mientras que el resto del centro se mantiene bastante despejado.

We arrived around sunset, around 5:00 p.m., and although this shopping center always seems to be full (judging by the number of cars) from the parking lot, once inside you can see that the atmosphere is much calmer. This is because many people go there for the gym or the paddle tennis courts inside, while the rest of the center remains fairly empty.

Entonces, después de cumplir el objetivo por el cual salí de mi casa, nos pusimos a caminar gran parte del centro comercial. Y caminando por los pasillos, nos encontramos con una exhibición de cuadros que me llamó muchísimo la atención. Están justo al lado de la tienda de Carolina Herrera, y sinceramente, se ven preciosos con la iluminación del lugar. De hecho, fue en ese momento que noté que la tienda tiene pantallas exteriores con videos de modelos que me gustaron bastante.

So, after accomplishing the goal for which I left my house, we set out to walk around most of the mall. And walking through the aisles, we came across an exhibition of paintings that really caught my attention. They are right next to the Carolina Herrera store, and honestly, they look beautiful with the lighting in the place. In fact, it was at that moment that I noticed that the store has outdoor screens with videos of models that I really liked.

Luego, más adelante, descubrimos una tienda llena de arte y decoración que me dejó encantada. Tiene cuadros coloridos, adornos únicos y ese tipo de detalles que te hacen querer mirar cada rincón. No quise entrar solo para tomar fotos, pero sí aproveché para capturar algunas desde afuera.

Además, mi hermanita me comentó que, a veces, ahí hacen pequeños eventos o talleres para que los niños pinten, lo cual me pareció súper bonito.

Later on, we discovered a shop full of art and decorations that I loved. It has colorful paintings, unique ornaments, and the kind of details that make you want to look at every corner. I didn't want to go in just to take pictures, but I did take the opportunity to capture some from outside.

My little sister also told me that sometimes they hold small events or workshops for children to paint, which I thought was really nice.

Despues de eso, estuvimos en la feria de comida, donde un grupo de músicos tocaba salsa en vivo. Aunque el ambiente estaba un poco vacío y eso se me hizo algo triste. También habían varios puestos con artículos de series, películas y juegos que me encantaron, pero lamentablemente ya no me quedaba presupuesto jasja.

After that, we went to the food fair, where a group of musicians were playing live salsa music. Although the atmosphere was a little empty, which made me feel a little sad. There were also several stalls selling merchandise from TV series, movies, and games, which I loved, but unfortunately, I didn't have any money left LOL

En general, este centro comercial sigue siendo un buen lugar para dar una vuelta, ver algunas cositas lindas y pasar un rato agradable. Ojalá poco a poco más tiendas vuelvan a abrir, porque tiene mucho potencial para recuperar la vida que una vez tuvo este centro comercial. 🌇✨

Overall, this mall is still a nice place to walk around, see some cute things, and have a good time. Hopefully, more stores will gradually reopen, because this mall has a lot of potential to regain the life it once had. 🌇✨
