[ENG/ESP]A Wednesday as seen through my lens.

Greetings, dear friends of this wonderful #wednesdaywalk community. As I do every week, I’m here again to share my journey with you—those little everyday adventures that, though simple, always leave us with a story to tell, or simply a moment to remember.
Our day began very early, almost at sunrise. The weather was wonderful, typical of this island: intense heat from the morning and a radiant sun that allowed us to appreciate the beauty of nature. That unique light makes the colors look more vivid, the sky look enchanting, and even the simplest things turn into a postcard. With my phone’s camera, I was able to capture some natural and urban landscapes that accompanied me along the way, and which I’m now sharing with you so you can also enjoy a little piece of this day.

We left home early because we had to drop off the truck at the shop. It was due for an oil change and a thorough cleaning underneath—something necessary to keep it in good condition. Once we dropped it off, the work didn’t stop. We had to continue the trip on the motorcycle, which isn’t exactly my favorite mode of transportation, but when duty calls, there are no excuses.

Our first stop was at the Sunsol Unik hotel, where we carried out our standard cleaning and disinfection routine, just as planned. We checked the readings, and to our satisfaction, everything was perfect. When the results come back good, I feel a great sense of relief, and I know the hotel appreciates it too, because that translates into quality and safety for its guests. While we were taking care of that part of the job, Luis, on the other motorcycle, was at Sunsol Isla Caribe to move forward with everything scheduled for the day—that’s what teamwork is all about.

After finishing up at Unik, my husband and I headed to the city of Porlamar. We needed to find a replacement part for our car, which my husband is working hard to finish assembling. Finding the oil pump has turned out to be a bit of a challenge; in fact, this was the second day in a row we’d gone out looking for it. Fortunately, this time we were given two leads on parts stores that might have it, so we headed there with renewed hope.

The heat was so stifling that we had to make a strategic stop at an air-conditioned bakery to cool off and rehydrate. We sat down for a while, chatted, and breathed in the fresh air. We weren’t looking for food, since we’d already had lunch before leaving the hotel; we just wanted a break from the sun, which seemed to show no mercy.

After getting something to drink, we resumed our search. To our surprise, when we arrived at the first store, they told us they did have the part—but at a ridiculously high price. We decided to try the second option, and luckily for us, they had it too—exactly the same part, but for half the price. These are the kinds of things you have to deal with, but the important thing is that we finally got what we needed.

Happy to have the replacement part in hand, we headed back home. The heat was still intense, and the sun—well, let’s not even go there. The good news is that we achieved our goal for the day, something that had seemed impossible the day before. Now my husband can continue working on the car in his spare time; he thinks he’ll have it ready by this weekend.
I’ll see you next Wednesday, when I’ll share another one of my adventures with you, thanks to the initiative of our friend @tattoodjay.
See you soon.
Bye.
Chao.

Many say they never have time to walk or take photos, but you prove it's just a matter of priorities. Those who want it, find the time, right?
Absolutely! In the end, time is always there—it’s just waiting for you to decide to make the most of it. When something does you good, you make time for it, even if it’s just a little while amidst everything else. Everyone has their own pace, but I do believe that when you really want something, you’ll find the time.🌹🌷🌺💐🏵️🪷🌻🌼🥀💮🪻🌸🍀
