Walk at the Marina
Last evening, I had a pleasant walk at the Marina, One of my favorite places in the city for evening walks. Afternoon I attended a birthday party and was stuffed with food, so I needed this walk. The place is all bling bling and it just keeps growing with the passing time. I remember when I had started coming here some 7 years back, it was a very simple place, there used to be no fancy lights. But now the face of it has completely changed and the expansion work is continuously going on. Land is being reclaimed and the township is extending with new buildings come up over the edge.
People want high lifestyle these days. What I have also observed is that people are willing to spend for this high lifestyle, whether it is about buying a fancy house, a car, or going to restaurants. People want to enjoy life, and if you have money why not, else what is the use of only earning and not spending. Saving for future is important and that needs planning, but enjoying life is also important.
This particular wooden yacht that you see is called Dhow. This is the name of the boats which are typically old fashioned and used for commercials purpose to take around people. It is rented on hourly basis for parties, or you can just take a group ride for the time you desire. Previously there used to be very minimal golden lights on it, but this time I saw it is completely covered with lights. They want to make it showy that people get attracted to it.

As you can see there is so much bling all across this place.
This courtyard has restaurants on both the sides. Now with the season getting better, there will be a lot of outdoor seating. Sometimes you do not get a place as it gets very crowded.
These building lights also give a very good show, the reflection of these lights in the water makes it attractive.

I always enjoy coming here for my evening walks.

The area is very colourful. A lovely place for evening work. Our enviornment is changing everyday. In 7 years Our locality has also ternsformed into a new outlook. It doesn't catch our eyes though but when look into old pictures, iit seems the palce was different.😀
When we live regularly in one place we do not take much of a notice, but yes when we see it after gaps that's when we notice how things keep changing

I am sure it must be. All these places which has a coast line have such fancy places to live and experience. Affording them is not easy, but you can still enjoy them with the little experiences
No wonder the marina is your favorite place to walk at night, everything looks great and brightly lit

Damn! The city looks beautiful. The light on those palm trees makes the street so clean. I guess highlife makes people feel good, that's why they always go for it.
