OLD DISCOVERY / NEW to ME //

This was a long walk along a beach out to an abandon Lighthouse. When we got down to the beach you could not see the Lighthouse in the distance.
I was here a life time ago and remember not being able to get close to the Lighthouse. At that time you could only get there at low tide.

I was wondering if it was still there. Stopping a guy and asked if there was a Lighthouse out at the point and he said it was there.

Being on a peninsular you had a choice of a beach on either side. I choose the the one along Gardiner's Bay. And still could not see the Lighthouse.

Came across this little bridge over a tidal creek. Didn't understand why it was there. Then realized you needed to cross it when the tide was high.

An attractive stone 2 story structure. It had a fence around it with ponds close by.

Feels like double the distance walking on soft sand !LOLZ

Not a very tall lighthouse would almost mistake it for a double-storey home, do like the stone building.

Finally, you reached your destination and found it. A nice peaceful place and even the little bridge looks beautiful.

Such a long walk to catch the lighthouse. That place looks very mysterious, and very old.
