Nothing like being on location and exploring it in every way. The way to do that, at least for me, is to walk. I tend to do that a lot. When it comes to taking pictures I do it more.

Luckily I discovered this community, and I feel like a fish in water.

This time I share a walk to a market on Bolivar Avenue in Valencia, Venezuela.

Since I moved to this area I usually walk along it, but I rarely stop to contemplate my surroundings: old buildings, stores, and of course, the people.

Av Bolivar is one of the busiest areas of the city, and therefore, I find myself bustling, of course, this time was no exception.

Since I didn't have my reflex camera at hand, I took advantage of my cell phone to capture the moment, as well as some characteristic buildings.

The walk left me tired, not because of the distance, but because I had to carry my bags after leaving the market. I will share that experience another time.

What I highlight from this photographic walk is that it allowed me to observe a commonplace that I visit every day, from a different perspective, making me enjoy a moment in routine.

Nada como estar en el sitio y explorarlo en todos los sentidos. La manera de hacerlo, al menos para mí, es caminando. Suelo hacerlo y mucho. Cuando se trata de tomar fotografías lo hago más.

Por fortuna descubrí esta comunidad, y me siento como pez en el agua.

En esta ocasión comparto una caminata hacia un mercado, en la avenida Bolívar de Valencia, Venezuela.

Desde que me mudé a esta zona suelo recorrerla, pero pocas veces me detengo a contemplar mi alrededor: viejos edificios, tiendas, y por supuesto, la gente.

La Av Bolívar es una de las zonas más concurridas de la ciudad, y por lo tanto, me encuentro con ajetreo, por supuesto esta vez no fue la excepción.

Como no tenía mi cámara reflex a la mano, aproveché mi teléfono celular para captar el momento, así como algunas edificaciones características.

La caminata me dejó cansado, no por la distancia, sino porque luego debía cargar las bolsas luego de salir del mercado. En otra ocasión comparto esa experiencia.

Lo que destaco de esta caminata fotográfica es que me permitió observar un lugar común y transitado por mi a diario, desde una perspectiva diferente, logrando que disfrute un momento en rutina.
