A walk to the Rijksmuseum/Прогулянка у Рейксмузей (UA/EN)

The pearl of my trip to the Netherlands is, of course, Amsterdam, and exactly 4 weeks ago, on Wednesday, I walked its streets.
This city is beautiful both from the outside and the atmosphere. You can't help but admire him, you can't help but fall in love with him.

Перлина моєї подорожі у Нідерланди, звичайно ж - Амстердам і рівно 4 тижні тому, у середу, я прогулювалася його вулицями.
Це місто прекрасне і ззовні, і по атмосфері. Ним не можна не захоплюватися, в нього не можна не закохатися.

One of the main points of the trip to the capital of the Netherlands was the Museum Square. I know that it has been there since the end of the 19th century and attracts tourists from all over the world. It is home to the Van Gogh Museum, the Rijksmuseum (state art museum), the Amsterdam City Museum and the Moko (modern art museum). Of course, I wanted to visit everywhere. But in order to fully enjoy the proposed exhibitions and see the exhibits, you need more than one day. Realizing that this was not possible due to lack of time, she decided to visit the Rijksmuseum.

Одним з головних пунктів подорожі столицею Нідерландів була Музейна площа. Я знаю, що існує вона там з кінця 19 століття та приваблює туристів всього світу. Там знаходиться Музей Ван Гога, Рейксмузей (державний художній музей), Міський музей Амстердаму та Моко (музей сучасного мистецтва). Звичайно, побувати хотілося скрізь. Та для того, щоб сповна насолодитися запропонованими виставками та роздивитися експонати, потрібно не один день. Зрозумівши, що за браком часу це не можливо, вирішила відвідати Рейксмузей.

A pleasant bonus was free entry for Ukrainians, for which special thanks to the museum administration.

The territory on which the building is located deserves special attention. There is a garden near it, where there are places to rest and fountains. Children like to play near them, because you can go into its center and water starts flowing around. The garden itself is very elegant, with a huge number of flower beds and lawns.

Територія, на якій розташована споруда заслуговує окремої уваги. Біля неї облаштовано сад, в якому розміщені місця для відпочинку та фонтани. Біля них полюбляють бавитися діти, адже можна зайти в його центр і навколо починає струменіти вода. Сам сад дуже ошатний, з величезною кількістю клумб та газонів.

Museum premises in the Gothic style. It was built in 1885. The hall, which connects the central entrance and the garden, has a very beautiful ceiling, in the neo-gothic style. There are regular concerts of street musicians who play classical music on various instruments and sing opera parts.

Приміщення музею у готичному стилі. Споруджене воно у 1885 році. Хол, який з’єднує центральний вхід та сад, має дуже красиву стелю, в неоготичному стилі. Тут постійно проходять концерти вуличних музикантів, які грають на різних інструментах класичну музику та співають оперні партії.

The Rijksmuseum contains 80 (!) halls located on 4 floors. It houses collections of Golden Age paintings, interior items, weapons, cups and coins, there is even a crown and a huge library.
The pearl of the museum is Rembrandt's painting "The Night Watch", painted in 1642. She is truly unearthly! The canvas is simply huge! You can look at the painting all day long, because every detail of clothing, facial features, gestures and facial expressions are written in such detail that it gives the impression that the characters are alive, and the viewer feels an invisible presence in the middle of the depicted plot.

Рейксмузей містить 80 (!) залів, що розміщені на 4 поверхах. Тут зберігаються колекції живопису Золотого віку, предмети інтер’єру, зброя, кубки та монети, є навіть корона та величезна бібліотека.
Перлиною музею вважається картина Рембранта “Нічна варта”, написана 1642 року. Вона, воістину, неземна! Полотно просто величезне! На картину можна дивитися весь день, адже кожна деталь одягу, рис обличчя, жести і міміка написані так детально, що виникає враження, що персонажі живі, а споглядач відчуває незриму присутність в середині змальованого сюжету.

The museum has a solid collection of paintings by Jan Vermeer. One of his most famous works, "The Milkmaid", which he wrote in the period 1658-1661, is in the Rijksmuseum. It is also one of the favorite exhibits of tourists.

В музеї зібрана солідна колекція картин Яна Вермеєра. Одна з найвідоміших його робіт “Молочниця”, яку він написав в період 1658-1661 років, знаходиться в Рейксмузеї. Вона, також, є одним з улюблених експонатів туристів.

I really liked the interior items collected in the museum's collections. A children's bed, made with extraordinary skill, could not leave me indifferent. I looked at it for a long time, imagining how a child from a noble family rested there hundreds of years ago. The bed, pillows, bedspread and canopy above the bed look very aesthetic, every detail is thought out and bears the imprint of nobility and wealth.

Мені дуже сподобалися предмети інтер’єру, зібрані в колекціях музею. Дитяче ліжко, що виготовлене з надзвичайною майстерністю, не могло залишити мене байдужою. Я довго роздивлялася його, уявляючи, як сотні років тому там відпочивала дитина із знатного роду. Постіль, подушки, покривало та полог над ліжком виглядають дуже естетично, кожна деталь продумана та несе в собі відбиток благородства та достатку.

The museum has a room with children's houses. Imagine a mini palace in section. It is divided into separate rooms, which contain furniture, chandeliers, curtains and trinkets, such as a vase of flowers or a basket of laundry. It's like mini versions of real houses. The walls of the house are covered with wallpaper and fabric, and in some places painted with colorful ornaments. It is impressive, because every detail is made by hand and with great skill.

В музеї є кімната з дитячими будиночками. Уявіть в розрізі міні палац. Він розділений на окремі кімнати, в яких містяться меблі, люстри, штори та дрібнички, на кшталт вазону з квітами чи корзини з білизною. Це наче міні версії справжніх домівок. Стіни в будиночку гаптовані шпалерами та тканиною, подекуди розписані кольоровим орнаментом. Це вражає, адже кожна деталь зроблена вручну та з величезною майстерністю.

The museum has a huge collection of ship models. Of course, for a country that has been engaged in maritime affairs for centuries and has developed shipping, this is not surprising. But these mini-ships are prototypes of real ships that have probably been resting in the depths of the sea for a long time.

В музеї величезна колекція макетів кораблів. Звичайно, для країни яка століттями займається морською справою та має розвинене судноплавство, це не дивина. Та ці міні кораблі є прототипами справжніх суден, які вже мабуть давно почивають у морських глибинах.

The Rijksmuseum contains a rather interesting picture. Its author is Francis Goya. This is the "Portrait of Don Ramon de Posado". During the X-ray examination, it was found that under the image there is another work of the master.
A huge number of statues from different periods and different artists are collected here. In my opinion, the pearl of the collection is Falcone's work of 1757 "Seated Cupid".

Рейксмузей містить досить цікаву картину. Автором її є Франциск Гойя. Це “Портрет Дона Рамона де Посадо”. Під час рентгенівського дослідження було виявлено, що під зображенням міститься ще одна робота майстра.

Тут зібрано величезна кількість статуй різного періоду та різних митців. Як на мене, перлиною колекції є робота Фальконе 1757 року “Сидячий Амур”.

There are not enough words to tell about all the beauty seen in the Rijksmuseum and describe the feeling of euphoria from its visit. I am happy that fate gave me the chance to visit this extraordinary museum.

Щоб розповісти про всю красу, побачену в Рейксмузеї та змалювати почуття ейфорії від його відвідування не вистачить будь-яких слів. Я щаслива, що доля подарувала мені шанс побувати в цьому надзвичайному музеї.
