STORE AFTER STORE

avatar

I visited a couple of stores today, early in the morning.

(Enlargeable)

This electric scooter was parked in front of the one called DISCOUNT STORE STANICH. It's a medium-sized store. Too big for a corner store, and too small to be called a supermarket. In the same, fairly large building, there is a small bank office, an even smaller bakery shop, and a butcher shop, more or less the size of the bank mentioned a bit earlier in this sentence.

When I entered to buy some beef steaks, the butcher was busy in the storage room. The store was empty so I took this photograph while waiting. After getting the meat ...

... I walked two or three hundred meters to the supermarket that goes by the name of PLODINE. In this photograph that I took on the way out, when my shopping there was done, you can see people enjoying the morning in the supermarket's cafe bar. PLODINE is the biggest store in my hometown, and in the last decade or so, its cafe bar has become the most popular meeting place for local people. You can find all kinds of customers there. Those who stop to drink something before or after the shopping. Workers on the launch break. Some kind of neo-yuppies in business suits. Teenagers. Tourists. A couple of relatively old alcoholics. They all can be found there, especially late in the morning and around noon.

These lovely flowers of the Campsis × tagliabuana plant ...

... were photographed on the dried-out branch of a dead tree. In the yard of one of the houses across the street from the small grocery store called MINI-MARKET GRGA.
The branch looks a bit like a tentacle of a floral monster that is slowly crawling around the neighborhood.

These two cute dogs were waiting near the entrance of the GRGA store.

I took one more shot and then, walked back home.

This photograph was taken at the crossroad near my house.

Some work around the powerlines was going on.

AND THAT'S IT. THE WALK ENDS HERE. AS ALWAYS IN THESE POSTS ON HIVE, THE PHOTOGRAPHS ARE MY WORK - THE END.

Shocked you didn't write the breed of the dogs 🤣🤣🤣.
The flowers are pretty though, growing on

the dried out branch of a dead tree
Does that makes them a type of parasite?

Hehehehee I don't much about the dog breeds. It is easier for me to find the names of the insects.
That climbing plant uses the tree to spread vertically but isn't very destructive. Something else killed that tree.

Seriously 😂. I know for a fact insect names are much harder and more than dogs. I think that's a bulldog though😂😂.

Luckily for those dogs, they were unaware that they have been snapped

Nice walk to the store.
Those dogs are just cute, sitting nicely and wait for their human 😎
The flowers are pretty and do stand out of the dried branch. Such a contrast.
The guy high up… it almost looks like he was picking his nose, but he isn’t… !LOL
Thanks for sharing @borjan 👋🏻😊

That's a very neat looking butcher. You do get to have nice outings Borjan.

Some kind of neo-yuppies in business suits. 🤣 This made me smile, I can picture them all in my mind.

That plant you found I know by the name of the Mexican Blood Trumpet. They are lovely creepers, I'm not surprised it was wrapping it's way around the tentacle floral monster, it's the perfect place for it.

Such a nice and spacious atmosphere for walking leisurely. And you are entertained by the natural habitats and plants and local workers. Life is slow but not boring at all!

At first I thought that red plant would slowly cover up the house, the buildings nearby and evenly the whole area, like alien invasion!!

Hope your cats are well. I miss seeing them around!

You have added many stories to this post. It is a true form of photography. But the curator does not understand the importance of this kind of photography.

Nice colors in all of these; even in the one with the dogs the red harness complements the red on the bike; one might think that the bike would ruin the shot, but the color makes it work, good eye. ... Outside the supermarket, you say

you can see people enjoying the morning in the supermarket's cafe bar.

Hmm. I'm not sure the lady is really enjoying herself, lol!
