Trails, heights, pine trees and a mirror of water. 🌲💧
The walks along the paths and the heights give different visions of a landscape, the colours change, the sun reflects differently and even the air is different. The world seems far away and one becomes part of the same environment, of nature, where silence and harmony reign.

I like it when in places that are not castles I find paths or entrances like this one, they seem to lead me to some mysterious portal where I can find immense surprises and it is almost always like that.

The number of parks and places in the city are countless, I have not yet been able to visit them all and each one takes me several days if I want to enjoy them as I should and as I want to. This area of the city has many entrances, some in the lower areas of the lagoon and others in the higher areas. This time I ventured into one of the higher ones and the views did not disappoint.
Almost the whole place had a safety railing and I tried to walk along the path next to it, i.e. I turned off the usual hiking path and followed a dirt road through the vegetation.

I could see the lagoon from above where the clouds reflected on the water and the shades of blue changed as the clouds passed and hid or let the sun shine through.
In the distance I could see the buildings, the trees, but in the place where I was there was only silence, the silence of the breeze that generates a sweet music among the branches, the leaves, passing close to you and whispering things, all beautiful things.
Also in the distance I could see some towers, I think they refer to electricity, this place is not exactly in the centre of the city, but quite far away and it is usual to see those towers crossing the landscape to bring electricity.

Meanwhile the clouds drew beautiful figures in the sky, generating those marvellous reflections on the water. On the other hand, I came across a sign that talked about biodiversity and although it had a lot of graffiti on it, I could read what it said.
It talked about genetic, species and ecological diversity and how they were present in this place, especially the plant species, such as rosemary, broom, pines, holm oaks and carob trees. It's really not nice when they ruin these informative signs. I think it happens everywhere in the world and here is no exception.

He also talked about the species of birds and other animals in the place, such as ducks, geese, fish, turtles and many of the birds found among the trees.

I continued my walk looking everywhere, both in the direction of the lagoon and to a higher area with trees and lots of greenery.

There were dirt tracks all over the place, forming before my eyes many different landscapes.

Arriving at another end of the route I came across another sign that spoke of the history of the town and that the human presence in this area dates back to prehistoric times. Proof of this is the Bronze Age archaeological site and also towns on the Tortuga hill and Roman settlements which are protected as archaeological assets. But it also tells of history closer to home such as the 19th century and the economic expansion evidenced by the tile, brick and pottery industry.
I always love to find information on posters everywhere I go because it makes me learn a little more about every place in this city.

One of the things I liked most about this area, apart from the distant views of the lagoon, was the descending path with the pine trees on the sides. I didn't go down this time, but I circled the whole area and it is just wonderful, plus the sun lit up everything differently as I changed angles.

Each time I went further and further away, the lagoon and the pines were far away and a new path was waiting for me, one full of trees, shadows drawn on the grass.

Of course, I could never take my eyes off the lagoon, water will always be wonderful to me, however it manifests itself.
It has been a beautiful walk full of sunshine and life, thank you very much for joining me on this Wednesday walk. I send you a big greeting, see you soon.

Hugs!
I always love to visit new places that give me surprises, thank you very much!
The view of the lagoon is so wonderful, and the pine trees create an incredible backdrop. I also love those paths that seem to go on forever, leading to another wonderful place. I hope you get to explore all these trails, because each one is more beautiful than the last. They are perfect.
From this place I have yet to explore the trails at the bottom, down the endless staircase, I hope to go there soon. Thank you very much!
Good morning, dear friend @avdesing
What a beautiful place for a Wednesday walk! Looking at the photos, I can almost smell the fresh herbs in the air. I love the photos taken from above.
That lagoon has completely captured my attention.
Excellent shots!
Have a wonderful day!
It's a different and beautiful place, and I think that high ground is the best of all. Thank you very much!

What a fantastic and lush place, but I do wish people wouldn't do this kind of stuff. They do it here too, so it appears to be a common behaviour in humans 🙃
At least it doesn't take away from all the wonderful nature
I think exactly the same, taking care of these places is fundamental. thank you very much, it's a wonderful place!

Hello, Avecilla, the walker!
Of course, those views don't disappoint. And the water with that colour...😍 beautiful.
How nice that you could read the sign... the brain knows how to fill in the missing information. From what I have seen in your posts, Malaga is a very prosperous place in many ways. Thank you for sharing these moments.
🤗
The same thing happened to me... I thought why write the posters, what need is there... but well I wanted to bring it as it was, it's the reality. Thank you very much, whenever there is water... there is my look!
Unfortunately, there are people like that... they need to stand out or annoy others at all costs.
Mejor pensemos en el paisaje hermoso... mejor jajaja
Good afternoon @avdesing. I already knew there were Argentinian women from Malaga (I know one) and now I find out there were also men from Malaga in prehistoric times... quite a surprise!
I found the walk very pleasant; of course, it's no wonder you can't take your eyes off the lagoon. The only things that bothered me were the graffiti on the information sign and those electricity pylons.
Even so, everything looks beautiful and has great views. Thanks for sharing this route (which feels like springtime).
Big hug!!
It bothered me the same, but I brought it because it is the reality, but I didn't like that they are written... I compensate for the incredible views. Thank you very much!
👋
👍
I didn't know about this lagoon in Malaga. It is such a great thing to have a piece of wilderness, where nature wins over the concrete but still being in the city. 😀
It's also huge! This part is the high area .... that I was missing. Do you remember the labyrinth of bushes? That's the lower part, this place is dreamy!
This one, righ?

Oh, I didn't connect the places at first, now it's clear ;)
Good morning 😊
It's that one, and it's a big one!
