Wednesday Walk - Take a walk to Lhokseumawe City and end at Jagu Beach
Hi, friends.
It doesn't feel like it's just Wednesday anymore and I'm very happy to welcome Wednesday because every Wednesday I can share my traveling activities in the Wednesday Walk community. Today I want to invite my friends to take a walk with me to Jagu Beach which is located in the East of Lhokseumwe City.
This afternoon I saw outside the house that the weather was very hot and friendly which made me want to take a walk to the beach with my favorite motorcycle. After thinking about it for a while, I finally decided to go to one of the most beautiful beaches in our city, namely Jagu Beach.
This afternoon I was driving casually to enjoy the natural atmosphere, but the weather was a bit hot, hehe. When I arrived in Lhokseumwe City, I immediately rode my motorbike towards the beach. The atmosphere of the city streets today is not too crowded which makes me very satisfied to enjoy the atmosphere in the city.
The city of Lhokseumawe, which is never empty, makes me very happy to be able to walk around the city and see the various activities that are going on in this city like today. Jagu Beach which I will visit today is located at the very east end of Lhokseumawe City in the old Jawa Village, from the Medan-Banda Aceh national road or from the City center the distance to this beach is about 15 Km according to google map, when I arrived at Jagu Beach I was immediately greeted with a giant concrete inscription with the words PANTAI JAGU.
The breeze on the beach that blows my body makes my body feel fresh immediately, the sea water this afternoon looks a little higher than usual, here I also see several benches for travelers who are still empty because most of the street food cafes here are open. afternoon.
In the sea I also saw several pillars stuck in the sea, I still don't know their main function but it looks like they were pillars made to support the large buildings above them.
Then I am now continuing to walk along the small road on the edge of this beach using my favorite motorbike while enjoying the beauty of the beautiful and clean beach. Beside this road is made in the form of a small elongated wall and painted yellow to hold back the waves of sea water so they don't hit the road directly.
Usually in the afternoon along this wall there are lots of people sitting with their partners to enjoy the beach and sea, with a happy feeling and mood I immediately continue to ride my motorbike along this road.
In the middle of the road I saw an open place that directly leads to the open sea and I saw lots of fishing boats parked in a circular shape here. I am very amazed to see these small boats because they are small and beautiful.
Usually this boat is used by fishermen to carry trawl nets out to sea, here I also saw a pile of trawl nets being dried on this concrete road. This boat is painted with colors and decorated with unique pictures on the body of the boat.
After that I continued my journey again, and now I see again there is a bamboo tree that is made in the form of a small bridge that leads to the sea, I suspect this place was made for people who want to fish.
Today's sea water is very high and the wind is also strong, usually people will fish here in the morning and evening. Satisfied with enjoying the various beautiful coastal views here, I am now continuing to drive again.
And at the end of this road I again saw that there were lots of fishing boats parked on the coast. It seems that today many fishermen don't go to sea because the weather is not good and the sea water is too high.
Satisfied with enjoying the various natural beauties at Jagu Beach, I decided to go home because it was already getting late.
This is the story of my trip this Wednesday, see you in the next post.

Did you know you have your own profile map?
And every post has their own map too!
Want to have your post on the map too?
You have very colorful fishing boats in your place. I loved the view on your boardwalk, the side streets are very clean too.
The bamboo bridge look kinda scary too. Is the water already deep there?
Nice place. Thanks for sharing.
I was also a little scared when I saw the bamboo bridge because the sea water was already deep below, can you imagine how it would feel if we were far away?
Maybe the weather wasn't great for fishermen as of the big waves and wind, but it was a perfect day for a walk and taking photos!
Thanks for sharing your walk/ride! I had a feeling being there with you enjoying the breeze by the sea...
