Looking Up On Wednesday

FLOWERS IN THE SKY

We've been having blue skies lately, even if a little windy, so I've been walking a lot. I found some beautiful contrasts between the very colourful flowers on tall trees up against the blue skies. I tried making some negative space type photos but I didn't quite achieve that.

I tried mirroring the few clouds visible with the white flowers but they were moving too quickly and didn't quite work :)

These two reminded me of the last time I was on the Canary Islands with epic blue skies and high contrast palm trees, mostly deep green, against blue. There were also, at times, some white fruit looking things on trees there that till this day I haven't figured out what they were.

Anyway, I'll try again next wednesday 📷

Yes indeed it is. That's the Japanese name I believe. They're beautiful to behold in full bloom

The blossom has been lovely this year and contrasts nicely against a blue sky. You don't have to go to Japan to enjoy that :)
