I live naked and barefooted, very close to Earth and Nature, in an 18-acre, off-grid, clothing-optional, food-forest intentional community (GaiaYoga Gardens), way out in the jungles of Lower Puna, far East Big Island, Hawai'i, and I have for more than 5 years now. Although there are many challenges, I love my life, and I'm immensely grateful to live where and how I do, on my own terms! I would not want to live any other way! 😁🙏💚⚡💥🔥✴️✳️❇️👣🌱✨🤙

As we're all well aware, there exists a massive diversity of blockchains, and their innumerable iterated coins and tokens, in the Cryptoverse, with often glaring differences between them. As I've said many times, all cryptocurrencies are not the same! Of all the assorted blockchains and cryptocurrencies of which I'm aware, there are only a handful or so that are actually interesting to me. I don't care about the fiat value of a blockchain's assets, or whether it's well-known or not, or even that it has a large active community yet. What's most important to me is how a blockchain was created, how it's run, by whom it's run, and for what purpose.

I have a little to no interest in any blockchains that are created, developed, and managed by
corporations, companies, foundations, governments, banks, or even sigular leaders, because that to me goes completely opposite to the original intention and potential for blockchain technology and cryptocurrencies, which is a decentralized/distributed framework for expression, development, and financial freedom, sovereignty, and self-autonomy, where we own our keys, and therefore our assets, that we can use in any way that we want. It puts the power of money back in the hands of the people, where it belongs. That's why I got interested in crypto in the first place.

In large part because of that, I've learned to become very discerning, picky, and selective regarding the blockchain projects in which I choose to involve myself. Bastyon (then Pocketnet) was my first experience of an explicitly sovereignty-driven social blockchain, then came Hive (which blew me away and enthralled me, as y'all know) a bit later in the same year. Hive changed, shifted, and redefined everything for me about blockchains, blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, money, finance, mutually-beneficial systems, and the indomitable power of community. Since coming and diving deep into the Hive Blockchain Ecosystem 3.5+ years ago, I've come across a few other 100% community-driven blockchains that have inspired me to create accounts, to explore, and to get involved in one way or another.

Qortal is another blockchain ecosystem that interested me deeply, and in which I've been active for a little over a year and a half now. DeSo came next, and while I'm still exploring that ecosystem and its potential, there are a few things that make it a bit less intesting to me, at least at the moment. The latest sovereignty and community-driven blockchain to come into my awareness is the Voi Network, which is just getting started now, being built from the ground up by the community. The ecosystem isn't very big yet, though I'm thinking that it will be soon. I've been claiming VOI tokens once per day on their fountain (faucet) site, to begin building some assets for when the blockchain fully goes live.

Just today, I began looking into creating an account on Blurt as well, as it's a sibling blockchain to Hive, I know several Hivers which have fled there after their negative experiences with downvoting, and because I'm now receiving SWAP.BLURT from certain diesel/liquidity pools, so it seems like a good time to explore that ecosystem a bit more. Since I'm an in-betweener who lives at the edge in everything, I bridge many worlds and domains, so it seems rather fitting that I would bridge several community-driven blockchain ecosystems as well. Community-driven frameworks may at times be somewhat chaotic and inconsistent, but I'll take them over anything else, any day!

Yesterday, Monday, I left the Flow House, after finishing up my Hive tasks, just before 2PM, heading first to Tutu's to make Elohi some food (at his request). While I was preparing his food, we got into a conversation about blockchains and cryptocurrencies, as well as Hive, with me answering several questions that he had about them. After his food was done, he wanted to continue the conversation, so we went to the Flow House, where I showed and explained various things about Hive to him on my laptop. After my crypto hangout with Elohi, I put my attention on some photography for these posts, and then I went to work in my nursery for a while, as well as to transport another wheelbarrow full of plants salvaged from my derilict nursery on the other side of the property to my newly reclaimed nursery. After my nursery work, I cleaned up, collected my jar of leftover superfood fire coffee from the Landing fridge, and I made my way back to the Flow House, to dive into my evening round of Hive tasks, and to catch up on my notifications. I had to pause that for an hour and a half to attend the Monday logistics meeting. As soon as the meeting was done, I returned to the Flow House to continue with Hive. Because of the hour and a half lost at the meeting, I wasn't able to get fully caught up on my notifications before I had to stop close to 12:30AM, to do some asset management, and then go to bed just after 12:45AM (too late!). I woke up a little before 7AM, still feeling that I needed a bit more sleep, doing more asset management, starting on this post, then getting out of bed around 7:45AM to go make my superfood fire coffee in the Landing, before returning to the Flow House to write this post. It's now just before 2PM, so a very good time indeed to end this post, so that I may get to my few other important Hive tasks, before leaving the Flow House a bit later in the afternoon, to first focus on photography for these posts, straining and blending kefir (kefir-honey-cinnamon-cacao) in the Landing, and then community/land work. 2025 Life Goals

1.) Do regular integral practices again, alone or with others.

2.) Prepare regular batches of my medicinal teas collected from the land again.

3.) Make my plant nursery, and the gardens, beautiful again.

4.) Begin learning relevant coding/programming languages to more fully contribute to the sovereignty-driven technologies where I am active, like Arch Linux, Hive, Qortal, DeSo, and Bastyon.
